  • Can you compost during freezing weather?

  • @meetman57 Yes, but the process is slowed down a lot.

  • great video, awesome dog

  • HOW DO YOU MAKE YOUR COMPOST STEAM???

  • @skillah69 by puting a even amount of greens and browns in the pile & turning it more offten it will steam and that will make it decompose more faster

  • People like you are going to be the feeders of your local community in the next few years. Cool video.

  • I love the details you provide...I've looked for this for 2 weeks now. Thank you

  • to make it faster u could turn it every week and have it moist ....and u will have your new organic compost //

  • I like your style & your music 5 stars*****

  • how long does it take to break down?

  • Great vid.........and dirt smells good dont' it!

  • We watched both #1 and #2 and this seems to be the simplest way to compost I have seen yet.

Rabbit food isn't free - but, if you guy from a Farm store and not at Wally World - the price isn't too bad.

  • You're awsome!

  • But it isnt free because you have to buy the rabbit food. You can use like grass clippings, or if your lucky *like me* you may have vines growing on neghboring fencing. Cut those vines down and cut em to smaller pieces. Thats what i do it works really great. :-)

  • Thank you for this video. I always thought composting was alot more complicated...I can't wait to get started!

  • Being an experienced gardener, I think it's important to compost, but alot of these videos make composting seem complicated and tiresome.

  • While I agree it's great to make compost, this method isn't "free" when you have to buy the rabbit food. Grass clippings are OK if you don't add them all at once and mix well.

  • It is hard to believe 260 total views on this video since Oct 25 2007.

There are so many reasons why this is the right thing to do, waste management, good for the environment, self sufficiency etc...

Anyway, great job and please keep up the great work!

    Thanks...
