it would be cool if you could add other trains as well as using it for some form of practical use, while the entertaining value is significant. Perhaps in theory use it as well as simple robotic arm to pick things up and bring them to you. My cousin has something like this, but its a computer controlled model one, that actually models the stops of a real railway.

Fantastic arrangement. There must be much to consider in knowingnthe lego track turn radius but building the shelf hanging from the ceiling first. Then you succeeded at the challenge of raising and lowering elevation AND what battery power would acheive. Would love to have this action hovering over me thru-out the day.

That train is a model of the german ICE, very badass, very modern train.

The price for that lego set is $230.00 and up because it was discontinued in the USA and is now rare to find.
