No one in Limp Bizkit or associates with the band has ever said anything about Slipknot. Bizkit never heard of Slipknot at the time. It was just a internet RUMOR that was started by Slipknot fans on the official Slipknot message board to get the band attention in the press and of course the Slipknot fans believed it (without facts of sources) since they didn't like Limp Bizkit. Fred actually thought Slipknot were a cool band after he heard about them.
