@LarryBundyJr - Not one of my favourites or even one I particularly know well. However, I am always on the look out for stuff that translates well to a fuller arrangement. So, I won't ruke it out. There are some good remixes of that track at remix64.com
@poke16384 It is an overlooked tune, but listen to it a few times, it most certainly grows on you! Are you only looking for songs that can translate into orchestral tunes? I'd have suggested Tim Follin's tune to Agent X II otherwise.
I love the end. It's just amazing. I can imagine the lights going dim, two spotlights shining down to illuminate a guitarist and a fiddler. And then they have a musical battle to end the song. It's a back-and-forth brawl to outdo the other, it sounds like. Excellent, excellent, excellent.
I can imagine this music opening a cop show somehow, with the actors running about and dramatically shouting at each other! That's not putting it down but sharing a funny thought which comes to mind.
@TheDustpile - In that case, the tune has achieved it's purpose. When Rob Hubbard wrote this brilliant tune for the Commodore 64, he stated openly that he had been influenced by "The Devil's Gallop", (there's a brilliant performance of it here on YouTube - /watch?v=e7bsL00aCGg ). The Devil's Gallop was the theme tune to the radio show 'Dick Barton - Special Agent' which I'm guessing had exactly the kind of action you describe.
Reminds me of i wanna be the guy. if it were kind.

@Meganarb - the castle level of 'I Wanna be the guy' used 'Monty on the run' as it's theme. So, IT IS!!
poke16384 4 weeks ago
@poke16384 I know, but this is what the theme would have sounded like if it were kind :P

@poke16384 I can hear the similarity. Though now it's been pointed out it does seem a bit of a cheat.
Though rendered through the SID the music takes a character of its own.b
Hope to see you back on the board. It's Commie User by the way.
