I have bougainvilleas that I get in the house every winter. most of them are in hanging baskets and two really big ones in big plastic pots. I hard prune all of them and water very little. no fertilizer and get them all back outside as soon as the temperatures are no lower than 50°. The oldest ones are 5 years old and looks pretty much like a bonsai. :)
Any drainage holes in that 'pot'?

this is not the way to do bonsai..........there no such thing as easy bonsai.......the pot is wrong, the method is wrong.

Hi Dutch, Your video techniques have been nicely honed. The plant is magnificent and the pot is also great. Keep up the pioneering work. J.
