  • Any drainage holes in that 'pot'?

  • I have bougainvilleas that I get in the house every winter. most of them are in hanging baskets and two really big ones in big plastic pots. I hard prune all of them and water very little. no fertilizer and get them all back outside as soon as the temperatures are no lower than 50°. The oldest ones are 5 years old and looks pretty much like a bonsai. :)

  • oops! I meant "I'd like*..." sorry!

  • I'd lie to see an update! I'm sure that beautiful Bou' died long ago! :(

  • How do you protect it during the Winters, I have to train mine from scratch every year.

  • your awesome, what a beautiful concept a concrete planter!!!

  • poor bougainvillea it used to be beautiful now im sure its dead

  • this is not the way to do bonsai..........there no such thing as easy bonsai.......the pot is wrong, the method is wrong.

  • What a beautiful Bougainvillea! Well done

  • Hey thanks for the idea I will try to make my own pot using that technique.

  • Hi Dutch, Your video techniques have been nicely honed. The plant is magnificent and the pot is also great. Keep up the pioneering work. J.
