Highway 61 Revisited was the album with the electric violin line in Desolation Row. And here's a little piece of folklore. Highway 61 was the road where Bessie Smith was seriously injured in a car crash and died when the white hospital wouldn't take her and put her back on highway 61 to send her to the black hospital in Clarksdale Mississippi where her arm had to be amputated. Good reason to take the train there. Good to hear this solo again too. It's a great arrangement.

Not very impressive, lots of distortion and reverb is all. Also, fiddles don't have frets, this instrument does. Too many strings as well. I'd call it a bowed guitar.

Some parts when he plays fiddler on the roof is rather good, but the entire thing has WAY too much reverb.

this is just about one of the worst things ive ever heard , the damn thing has frets in it.
and the distortion is just to distact people from the lack of anything else

Didn't like this, a different song would of been better. Fiddler on the Roof opening song should be only played on a.................FIDDLE!!!!
