  • This review is a bit disingenuous. McKenzie doesn't claim a one-size-fits-all approach in his book. In fact, he's very specific about the kinds of back pain his exercises address. He gives clear instructions for how to tell if they're likely to work beforehand, as well as the body feedback to watch for to monitor progress and ensure safety while doing them. Fortunately, my pain was the kind that the book addressed, and I was able to treat myself where none of the doctors I saw at the time could.

  • @rob3c That's great! We're glad this book helped you. Thanks for sharing your opinion.

  • So then in response to that opinion, would say what other books would you find helpful to go along with McKenzie's?

  • i have degenerative disc's, more so at l5 s1, these vertibrae are almost touching each other at the rear part of my spine! i believe by useing this method i am compressing the disc further, causing more inflamation & pain, the book contains nothing about compression due to degenerative disc's,as this man states what my be good for some, may not be good for others.

  • The only reason people slag off mcenzie is because he teaches you how to d.i.y and people like you won't get repeat buisiness. Fact. To r m its not about money.

  • He has done more for back and neck pain than anyone just look at what hes achieved.

  • I agree that Muscle Balance Therapy is truly the underlying culprit behind back pain. Thanks for sharing. Nice site by the way.
