The Nano is an excellent choice for netbooks. 64 bit, out of order processing, low TDP etc. Why do you think Samsung have based the NC20 around a Via Nano part.
A handphone based on a Mobile-ITX platform with Isaiah processor..that would be great. Still a wide array of software is needed to fully utilize the potential of such new platforms.Desktop S/W packages will 100% run on such handphones but this is not enough.
For smaller and more powerful devices, I think there should be also SoC platforms with modular configurations suited to each market/application for faster time-to-market. Back in the early '90s, a wide array of portable devices were introduced and now it's time to realize the potential of such devices.
consumption down. I work with pc's everyday and its a job trying to cool things down. Why does a multi-billion dollar technology like cpus need to be so dependent on a $10.00 fan. Think about it! Cooling should have been integrated in the cpu and not allowed to overheat.

Intel needs competition like this to get power

Keep fighting, VIA! More CPUs! More performance per watt! More competition in the CPU market.

nice, but the music doesn't fit. I like the way they're going tho.

Awesome. It really is impressive that Via is still in the game with the big guys. Keep up the good work :)
