When I found this I figured it was an old forgotten song but, holy crap, you JUST uploaded this. Love the style! Very Vangelis. I wonder what this style would sound like as an ambient soundscape a la 'bladerunner blues'
@crassirus Thanks, Crassirus! I'm working on a cyberpunk concept album, so expect hear more tracks similar to this one! One of the inspirations for it is Blade Runner, so I'm sure you'll hear some of that influence in there as well. ;)
@garoad Great to hear! It sort of reminds me of I Dream of 2018, an album by Tim Halbert I grabbed earlier. I liked the idea of an ongoing story told in each track, that would be pretty cool to see from a different angle here.
@dioseolo You won't be disappointed. I've got SO many ideas and roughdrafts already. This is going to be my best project hands down by the time I'm done.
I've been playing Soul Hackers the past few weeks, and yeah. If you like JRPGs and Cyberpunk, this is your Best Game Ever. My favorite song is Spookies. watch?v=uOe47avH7y0
@NCCVE Haha! Well, I'm not putting any up for download until I pack them all together. That's not to say that there isn't some Youtube MP3 downloader out there. ;)
@cjiwakura It's a big influence. Soul Hackers just screams cyberpunk ambience to me. It's an inspiration for this project in company with Ghost in the Shell and Blade Runner.
This is amazing! But as you said, you could definitely build off of this to make it sound even more epic, but it depends on what kind of feel your aiming for. This sounds great if your aiming towards a walk into the Neon labrynth sort of feel. if youre looking towards an epic anime battle, then you could bring up the pace, make more instruments, and give it an emotional struggle. I could totally see you turning this into something even more epic!
Yes its fine. It's perfect for like an intro track to an area. You could make a more straightfoward song out of it for the next area/scene or combat song even. I think its great. Hoping to hear more from these ideas. Electronic / Steam punk is where you shine.

I like how your directions are both '80s and futuristic, which are temporally completely different directions. Or do you mean the 2080s...? o:
Great one, man. (-:

Well, someone's been playing lots of Soul Hackers. Very reminiscent of that game's OST.

No way dude, this track is done. Perfection. The arrangement is great, the movement is superb. Everything is in the right spot. Awesome work.

@KCJacksonMuz Really? You think it's fine as is? I just feel like there's alot of buildup and then it just kind of suddenly drops off.
