i liked this movie but didnt loooooove it, but i like the gore, and the action is cool. the part were young michael beats the crap out of that kid with the tree branch was freakin distrubing. but i agree the first half is better than the second half. the second half was ok but alot of the scenes in the second half were very unnesacary and didnt need to be added

I liked this movie a lot because Rob Zombie did well at making it like the original, but also making it his own. And you're not supposed to apply this backstory to the old films since it is a reboot.

I really liked the actors in this film. I really liked Scout Taylor-Compton's Laurie, Tyler Mane's Michael, Malcolm McDowell's Loomis, and I liked that they brought Danielle Harris back into the series as Annie. I enjoyed that.

All in all I enjoyed the film.

I agree about the young myers. But i love scout taylor compton as laurie she does a great job. But it was more of a guilty pleasrue for me. I perfer the oringeanal but if i want somthing fast and dirty i watch this one. But great review pretty funny i think the devils rejects is byfar the best rob zombie film.

Good this movie sucks, the original Halloween by John Carpenter is the best of them all. It didn't need a remake. Malek Akkad ur a fucken stupid whore. Rob Zombie is not a good filmaker. not even half good. The actor suck, there no better Sam Loomis than Donald Pleasence. This movie totally sucks ass. this movie is worst than does produced by WWE Films which doesn't make good film with the exception of The Mummy Returns and The Scorpion King.

Great review, you know your stuff for a guy your age. But bad bad film, the only thing good was Malcom McDowell was in it, and he wasn't even that great in it.

Oh and another BRILLIANT thing about the film, was the fact that they used Nazereth - Love Hurts!

Q; why did they let zombie make this film?

A: Devils Rejects made money. they were going to remake it anyway. "Rejects" made money for the Weinsteins so they offered it to Zombie. After Halloween came out and made money they signed some 3 picture deal with Zombie.

Q: why remake it?

A: to make money - which it did. it made more than its budget in the first week. thats why they keep making SAW films
