SICK NASTY....not only is ari hoening one of the most musical drummers on the scene today, but he puts together the sickest groups of musicians. I love the jazz of the 50s and 60s, but everything has to progress and this is some frekin progression right here!!

@Sandemose I don't know if your aware of this, but on Small's website there's an archive of every set ever played there. If you ever feeling like listening to these guys tear it up, you have I'd say about 3 or 4 hundred hours of music to choose from.

They also stream every set live every night, which I find just as cool if not cooler.

@HendrixcommaMartin Yeah, thanks, I know! I stay very often on smalls archive. I at the time spend much time with Jonathan Kreisbergs gigs (they are so many I cant even count). If you didnt know Kurt Rosenwinkel has a forum. Often we hang out on a chat watching live music streaming from smalls. If you´re intrested, send me a private mail and I´ll send you a link to the chat and to Kurts forum. We have been haning out there for about 5-6 months now.
