I'm a Huge Pearl Jam fan. I think the Music was good on this but Eddie's voice just gets worse and worse. I think he did terrible here. Sounding more and more like goatboy everyday. Not even close to what he once was. Still love him though

That was beautiful. Easily my favourite Pink Floyd song. It sums up a lot of Roger Waters insecurity, emotional and maternal issues, . Eddies voice and range are perfect to express the futility of conflict and war with that scary cry for help. There aren't many better songs around to show you how desperate a mother can be to protect her son. Such a brilliant song.

I hate when I hear people say that they lost interest after the first few albums, as Yield, Riot Act, s/t and Backspacer are among their best work. Not to mention the fact that they have the courage to take chance musically, following their artistic notions rather than the dollar.

Typically, I don't like live versions of songs and I especially don't like live versions of a band trying to redo a classic, such as Mother. In this case, the song sounds like it was written for Vedder's voice. In my opinion, The Wall is one of the best Rock albums every produced but I think Pearl Jam does a great job with the song.
