hey! how do u know when the female is ready? i mean..urs is white =)..shouldnt they show vertical bar lines on their body? and..when can we release the female with the male to spawn? im kinda new to all this...D: ... ur really good!! =D please help...my male made a reli big bubble nest (: ... but im not sure when to release the female ! =(

at least you havea hobby Im considering breeding my plakat but i want to get a giant plakat

and don't really wanna order through the mail. I'll tel the lfs

only problem with the lfs is you have no clue what the genes are of the fish you are getting. I do know a few breeders that are awesome and can put the word out for you if you're looking for giants...I get fish and ship through the mail all the time now and it's all good:)

I am having a lot of trouble trying to find Betta breeders that will ship to Canada D: even looking on Aquabid they all wanna ship to US. I wanna buy fish threw mail with paypal would you be able to help me? (i'm not really too picky about the kinds of betta's atm im new to this wanna nice female and male)

that's normal:) All juvies that I've seen have the stripes, but they'll dissapear as she gets older:) Congratulations on your spawn!!! any pictures??? :)

I got them from a breeder called DownSouthBettas. Not sure if she's got anymore whites, but she's a great person to work with!

She's fine:) She was put back in her own tank just after she laid the eggs. She's got her own 2gallon tank that she lives in when not with the male.
