Thanks Bekkah. Those limo guys can be pesky some of time. Reminds me of the bank teller that needed protection from one of them one time. Something to do with domestic violence. ( her employer called Rex ) haha
That was a few years ago. He was all bluff!
You should've seen that limo screeching off! Ugh! lol
Another time for sure..... Have fun at that job party tonight. That is a great place to work! Lots of friends and good people. That new leather looks good on you! Real good!
lol - yes leather is a part of the uniform for casino security. The better the leather the better it looks. I took Nancy to leather headquarters. She was looking sharp! lol
Cool vid, Rex! The Rio is indeed spectacular! I get the free shuttle from Harrahs once in a while, the seafood buffet is great and carnival show is worth a look!:)
Thank you. The Rio is in a class by itself. You would hate it to see the good clips that I had to drop to the side. There was just TOO much going on. I saw Harrahs shuttle pickup station. The best look is right on the 50th floor at nightfall. There was a super long line waiting to enter elevator to go up to the 50th. They were all smiling...
Don't forget! You must have your camcorder with you for the view of the strip. Any night except Friday and Saturday. Too crowded on those days... Tell Dominika I said hi.
I will, when she finishes at 8! That camera you use is pretty good at night and indoors, what model is that? I use a Casio Exilim now but it can make the picture orange in low light so I am not sure how it will work on the strip. I still have the camcorder but I find the small Casio is better as people are more relaxed so I get better shots!:)
My camera is the 'Canon PowerShot SD850 IS Digital ELPH' - also called by Canon the spy camera because it is so small. It is used by a lot a newspaper photographers as a backup camera. People are relaxed. They think of it as just a do-dad camera. Little do they know! Time-lapse for 3 hours or longer. Write a book! Amazing...
The go karts are about 2 blocks away from this place. Wild Ride. Chasing after the checkered flag. Indoor kart raceway with good music in the background. :)
The buffet at the Rio is delicious, and I have a pretty embarassing picture with a Chippendale dancer from there- we(my coworker and I) also enjoyed the show in the sky, great place, be there soon!
There buffet use to be number 1. It is still really good. I got three different clips of the Chippendales on this video night. The ladies do enjoy. Just close the door first then let the show begin! Doors must be closed! Then the ladies get excited! They stay excited for at least 10 minutes after the show is over. Insider tip for the guys hanging at the outside door. hahaha
Super cool RexMan. I've never seen the bolwing alley...and seeing these viewpoints of yours makes it seem like seeing the Rio for the first time.
I've been wanting to go up to the 'balcony-patio thing' for awhile to take some pix. I like it just around sunset when the sky becomes (what Sinatra used to call)
Vegas Blue.
Keep on trucking Hoss. Just 85 (+ or -) more casinos to go. Maybe not so much neon anymore,
but always lots of something. I like Planet Hollywood's front video signs.
There was so much more video I shot that night. That was the Lucky Strike Bowling Alley. Cool!
I have some good pics of son and dau-in-law from the VooDoo Lounge balcony with that awsome skyline for background. It is my favorite night time view of the strip.
I think the last time I counted there were some 300 casinos. I will email you a good Planet Hollywood video for neon. I will look it up. Superb! We see the neon but these other folks might enjoy.
I am glad that you like it. I wanted you to like it. Tony and Tina's Wedding is an off Broadway show that is playing at the Rio on a regular basis. The theater! Then out to tea. Yes, I like that pic of PeeWee. He was sleeping on top of a black pillow. Good contrast? Thank you for your responses. :)
Thanks EW, we haven't heard of that show. Must have a looksee. LV is having a big Bollywood Film Fest just after Christmas. We've been invited, now we just have to back the winner in the 3.30.
Thanks for visiting. You won't beleive this. The Rio is owned by a company in the UK. Did you take notice of that Rolls Royce? But it was from Hawaii. lol
And the Beatles tribute show is down the street at the Mirage. The real Beatles were there for the show kickoff! Paul McCartney is the one I like! Great running show!
Thank you for being first to view. You never can tell. Never say never! I can see you clicking your heels now as you walk through the place and a little friendly flirting with one of the Chippendale dancers! Oh great big smiles. He will make you feel good! Perfect gentleman! :)
Vegas,neon,big cars,beautiful ladies and Rex
rather cool to be sure..
Thanks man.

It's a show where the audience attends a simulated wedding, gets to drink champagne and eat dessert with the Wedding Couple and their drunk priest.

WIKI says:
"its mission is to present India´s Bollywood films to a Czech audience".
That sounds like an unusual event. Better here than anywhere else, I suppose.
