Spanish Golden Age: 1492-1681

Rather the opposite. In fact it didn't begin until the end of Reconquist. In 1492 Catholic Kings defeated the last muslim redoubt in Granada and unified all spanish territories by christianity. This year converge three facts (Discovery of America,expulsion of Jews and final defeat of muslim invaders). Islam doesn't have any link with the Spanish Golden Age.

@MrMohd1990 That you would like to you! The Spanish Golden Age began in 1492 with the conquest of Kingdom of Granada, the defeat of the Muslims and the discovery of America. The golden age continued almost three hundred years. There are many things to be grateful to the Arab settlement in Spain, but you're realistic; Spain will never be Muslim!, the Spanish prefer be atheists, Jews, Buddhists, Hindus or Orthodox before Muslim! Spain flees of Islam, sorry.

the arab hadd been kicked out ,and killed..... but the spanish golden age was at the arabs time ...alhambra,cordoba,malaga and many more cities were arranged ass a piece of art at the age of arab....

no body deny this ....read the histiry u will know that

look at spanish , music , buildings , language and even food ...all are of an arabian culture ...it's 800 years

and read about arabs systems in this period u will know that cordoba was like paris or n.y. in this days by the educational ,art , and military systems .....It was the kings of Europe are proud that their children in the schools of the Arabs ....and many other feature of great culture no body can deny

@AhmedSHAFIEY That's not true, Spanish music, buldings, language and food is more traditionally European than Arab, there might be a little influence here and there, but thats it. The Arabs had their golden age about that time in the middle ages , but........where has all gone.? Look at the Arab countries now , exept for those that are rich in oil , most of them are still living in the middle ages.

@AhmedSHAFIEY I'm from Andalucía, Spain. Spain was christian before that muslim. The culture of Spain is greco-roman. Language, religion, traditions etc. We have muslim heritage but not in our culture, our culture is catholic 100%. The muslim heritage is "only" some buildings, words and names of cities. No more. No arab music, no arab food etc. (My english is bad)
