yes it may be a volvo engine but a tuned one at that. better chassis for that engine!!!

The dump valve is the best of both worlds !

ITs your preference for the volume but

If you loosen it off it make much more noise and leaks more air,BUT if you leak more air you run the risk of turning on the engine light on.

Those who comment that this DV is poor noise must not know the issues that loose loud DV's can cause.

Rest assured by Pumaspeed Performance that this may not be the loudest and cheapest, But it is the BEST BY FAR !!!

yeah that does sound very poor....

The non-adjustable one sounds slightly better....

Also its always been known that the dv's give a negative effect on the ST's, is it any different on the RS?

This unit is set at a medium hard which emits low noise and will never have a negative effect on the RS or the ST.The negative effects are due to other poor quality units that have a low spring rate and open too much causing all manner of running issues.
