If you like to create a video as such, please also talk about the child who sat in an interview room with tears in his eyes and indicated to two protective workers "I do not feel safe" (This was a 10 year old who is currently residing happily with his grandparents) - also a true story... Please for the sake of argument, lets consider both sides.
You bring up a very valid point. There are children who need protection. We need a system that can tell the difference between children who need it, and those who don't.
The trouble is, Child Protection workers cannot defend themselves in media and are not allowed to provide confidential information to public to defend a lot of lies made about them... and that I believe is what people take advantage of.
Social workers who you have indicated in your video as the ones who need 'your children to pay for their morgage' are the ones who have saved million kids across the world and their stories have never been told...
I believe the video you created was strickly one-sided and therefore , alot of truth was un-said...
The video may seem one sided but it is not. For every child that has been saved by a social worker, how many have lost their lives because of them? I do want children to be protected when needed but I don't want any more children to die needlessly.
And why is it that a picture has been made about child protection services removing children and placing with foster care??! Foster care is the last option for child protection agencies across the world... Immediate family members such as grandparents, aunts, uncles are always assessed before a decision is made to place a child in foster care
And why is it that no one talks about the child who had been sexually abused by his own biological father since the age of two, and by the age of 6, started exhibiting sexualised behaviours that a notification was made... and if it was not for Child Protection involvement, would still be residing in her father's care... (Again .. a true story which made it to Heralds' Sun newspaper in Australia (Victoria)...
It turned out that the mother would give him a good smack, each time he did not reply to her request(due to him being deaf ofcourse). Child Protection Services became involved and placed the child with his father once the investigation was completed
So.. Why is it that no one talks about the child who had been deaf since birth and who had been neglected throughout his young life to a point that by the age of 6, his mother still was not aware of his condition?? Moreover, the child was never sent out to school with adequet food and often presented with bruises to his body/face.
