I've tried to be patient and I listen to some stuff like that every once and a while, but I can't seem to like it. Old metal lives on.

You can't say that the type of metal played by LoG isn't the sound metal should have, as opposed to the dumbed down trash (not thrash) metal we were offered through the 90's. There are more bands with the right sound, but LoG is the best known one.

With uncreative and undertalented riffs, horrible vocals and lulzy try-hard aggressive lyrics that have no point or substance. Pantera-style Groove Metal is the biggest influence on all shitty metal-related music, from the majority of Groove Metal, 95% of which just copied Pantera shit attempts instead of taking after Exhorder's superior Groove, to Nu-Metal, to metal/deathcore.
