wrong. if u look closelyu can even see the light of the burst from the space craft. that is wht make the particle appear as it changes direction.

I once saw a program on tv where Nasa commented on this video clip. they took it frame by frame and explained what was going on. Just before everythin start to move (wich is all small particles wich space is quite full of) then you can actually see the ligth from the thrusters., and yes you can see all the debree starting to move at same direction.

But the normal explenation is that the UFO is avoiding a -some sort of- cannon shot from earth(thts the light and thing tht comes up...

This is very interesting. Has anyone ever did testing on this video. If not, they should. It could be a meteorite bouncing off like you said but like everyone else is saying, something shoots at it and it rapidly changes course. Looks like a flash, then a missile of sorts. But the only problem is that if it's a missile or something, then that's a very large missile. Decide for yourselves I guess.

It was a missile and if he had the whole tape you would see whatever they shot at chases the missile. This tape is really slowed down. This scene was described to me in March 1987 and you are now seeing it 20 years later

The camera follows the object until it disappears into space, so it would've had to have been trained on the exact spot where it was coming down. Besides, it changes direction no matter how you view the video, meteors don't do that.

2)A nitrogen thrust would've had an obvious effect on the live camera shot - the shot wouldn't have remained perfectly still. The flash came from somewhere else.

1) The shuttle was proven to have been approximately 320 miles or so from the objects in question. A nitrogen thrust from the engines would've had little to no effect on the object. You've got to be a complete and utter moron (or complete and utterly blind) to believe that the objects were at a close vicinity to the shuttle.

Did anyone notice the flash just before it took off? I have seen this video before, I hate to burst your bubbles but..The space shuttle in orbit is constantly falling, to counteract the falling they must fire off burst of air. The object you saw was a piece of rock that changed it's trjectory when hit by the blast.
