  • Look at her. Look at her and find out what passion is. Look at her and find out what talent is. Just look at her and you will understand how the music should have been nowdays.

  • God is Janis

  • 6 people are partly responsible for all the shit music getting popularity in our generation. Please don't reproduce.

  • Tu restes dans nos coeurs Janis, et tes chansons nous accompagnent chaque jour, magnifique chanson, je t'aime <3

  • Te amo!

  • That laugh is so CUTE.

  • To the guy who said that she was just a junkie, she had a shit life, she was bullied all her life. When she sings, can't you hear her pain? She was a human being, she was amazing and no matter what she did to herself, she didn't deserve to die and demands the same respect as anyone else. I hope your children don't dabble in drink and drugs, I fear that with your attitude, you will not be there to help them.

    Peace

  • If I could get this version on my Ipod I wouldn't ask for anything else in life

  • @candylandy08 I have this version on my ipod lol. just gotta know where to look

  • No respect she is drunken and full of drugs why take care of persons who destroy themselves?? This is nothing special. she died young no reason to make her holy. Too many drugs lead to self destruction. So it goes. Bad example for young people.

  • @TheRitterX th eonly one that is concentrating on her drug use is you the reason people "make her holy" is because she was a beautiful person inside and out and on top of everything she obviously has talent and can sing. that's why she's very famous and people love her not because of her drug use or because she died young. all ofher fans know drugs are bad...

  • @julio18p o.k. it is only me. and why she died young? use once in your livetime your brain and find it out. People can destroy their lives but it is not my job to celebrate them for this.

  • Heal us Janis...

  • if you disliked this your a fucking idiot

  • BlayMed should go back to watching justin bieber videos. This is Janis' style of singing and if you don't like it... don't click on her videos! I wonder... what makes people like BlayMed click on videos like this???

  • I cant help it,but I keep getting the feeling that she was crying out for help and she knew that she was going to die, by listening to the lyrics in this song and I just wish people could have seen a prayer for her instead of applauding.RIP Janis

  • friends reckon its strange this video has such low viewing numbers - but when you look at the shite sold as music today -

time to bring back the hippie look - Chris Cornell has started the trend - peace 2011

& b d way she is just fooking amazing ...........................

  • some videos should be unlikeable, this video fits in that case ;)

  • I'm crying

  • RIP janis

  • my fave janis performance rip love u girl, u died to young

  • Everytime I hear her sing this she takes my breath away

  • I think Janis is the only singer who can simultaneously make the hairs on the back of my neck stand on end and make my nipples go all hard and pointy.

  • Me gusta oir, chingona del blues te elevaba al cosmos con su sentimiento y sonido insuperable hasta estos dias en la actualida, sigue en tu viaje bruja cosmica.

  • Amy fucking who? With her 2 albums and 3 or 4 hits???

  • One troubled diamond! I miss her xxx

  • love the way how she sings with so much feeling and pain

you can almost feel the pain of the lyrics

RIP janis, member of club 27..

  • @DHspacer That's why it was called SOUL music. Music that you had to reach right down into your very soul to pull off. Some claimed tha tonly TRUE suffering would allow you to reach such depts.

  • The drinking and drugs were an attempt to mask the pain. Thankfully, she was able to release some of the pain through her music. That's what you hear and what you feel, and what made her phenomenal.

  • @tdavidp30047 the mask of the pain ....... drugs and alcohol.

  • How can anybody not LOVE this! <3

  • JANIS JOPLIN I LOVE U!

  • People always say her Woodstock concert was bad, i cant find anything bad about it, she's just kinda more drunk than usually.

  • Im crying as I watch this because Ive realised that my birthday is soon and it makes me older than Janis ever was. Ive loved her since I was 18 and always thought of her as being so much older, she really wasn't. x

  • @queensquish life its not about ages, its about how young you feel inside, and she sure felt very young in her soul :)

  • @esmozg She definitely did, I mean when I was 18 I thought she was so much older and wiser but now Im her age I realise she was still such a young soul, a little girl :)

  • @paragtime do you care?

  • ma godness

  • It's so sad to think that, in the same world where we live now, happy, deep, and lovely times, as the '70s existed, and now, we have all this crap, this dirty crap, mindless people, futile, disgusting. These '70s stuff are really a light in the darkness.

    Rest in Peace, Ms. Joplin.

  • I feel exactly the same as you, right now, Joplin.

I wish i could express my feelings in such a wonderful way as you did and still keep doing up there in heaven.

  • Southern Comfort supplied her with free booze because it was her drink of choice and it destroyed her amazing voice way before she died.

  • @garnetgervais sir, I'm 14 years old & this is the first time i heard Janis Joplin.

And sir I can tell you, this is the most beautiful voice i've ever heard..

If this southern comfort does this to your voice, I think I'm going to drink some of it too..

  • @guitarlover891 Haha...Well I don't recommend that, but good answer. As I said, this music is yours too and generations to come...Enjoy it...

  • ****

  • hermosoo :D

  • Makes grown men cry!!!!

  • Man, Janis did things with her voice that Hendrix, Bloomfield, Fogerty and Santana did on their axes....Imagine if her and Etta James did some songs together.....

  • nobody cut out their heart on stage like Jania NOBODY

  • she has the most amazing rock n' roll voice i think anyone has ever heard!

  • I love her...

  • Está más alta que en la original... ninguna cantante hace eso ahora... por eso la adoro°!!!

  • I'm fineee bby :)!

ooooh just,just!...it's Janis :D!.OMG!,who's the 4 guys that don't like this masterpiece :O!?...Oh!,whisky bless ya Janis :D!...

  • i really love her and she was the most amazing woman to me, but its sooo sad that she turned to heroin and was even using it before performances, like i have read she did before the ridiculusly long wait b4 the performance. Oh well, i still think its a great performance and love this woman dearly RIP

  • I love Janis Joplin and I own just about everything she recorded, but I don't think this is her best performance. She was taking a lot of heroin at the time, and arrived at the site about 10 hours before she had to go on stage, which unfortunately gave her the time to get trashed. The power is there in her voice, the music isn't. Loving a person's work sometimes means acknowledging when they're not so good; anything else is the just blind worship of an icon, not genuine respect for their talent.

  • Now that is singing!!!

  • Hey Tina from Goodwill !!!!

  • Hey Tina from G
