This band were ahead of their time. They would go down well today. (2012). Few bands could do this, especially after 34 years! Good to see the brass monkeys in the foreground. (Ray, Dick, Chris and the late Irish) - Brilliant. Thanks for posting this rare footage.
@Sillything75 Thanks for uploading. I've been listening to GP from his first album up to now. Thank G*D for the internet so now we can watch GP online.
I remember seeing him in concert in Italy in 1982. He was opening for the Police (!) who had just released Zenyatta Mondatta, and of course everybody was there for Sting & Co. but he really tore the house down. Great double concert.
I saw him in 78 at Leeds uni, he opened with this, the brass was even stonger in the mix.One of the all time great live performers- and bands, that somehow got lost in the mix. His attempts to position himslef as an English Springsteen never quite worked.
I saw him do this tour in NYC at the Paladium....really FANTASTIC!
And the Rumour at their peak!

Saw these boys at Blackbush. They were the stars at their peak, way ahead of those other BOFs on the bill (Messrs Zimmerman and Clapton)

I saw him that year in Frankfurt Germany. We were up close and it was the most amazing opening number I've ever seen period. Awesome.

This is a great recording of a fantastic performance -- everything working right and Graham Parker at his edgy best. Amazing!
