The lead guitarist and singer are the only members left but they got a surprise studio drummer to track not 1 but 2! Full albums. They wrote mostly their previous material so expect the shredding/rocking to continue..and catchyness. one of my favorite bands

Fall out boy vocals, pretty common instrumental work. I know alot of people hearing this sort of thing for the first time are going "OHMAHGAWD BEST GUITARS EVARRR!!!" but this sort of thing has been going on for a very long time in the progressive genre. But this is pretty straight up melodic metal.

For a long time I've been trying to figure out what direction metal is going to go in. I really think it's reached the practical limits of stretching tonality, go any further and I don't think it would really even be Wester Style (maybe it could "transcend that? I dunno).

But this is where I want it to go. Not quite as heavy, but technically advanced, catchy, and requires a large amount of skill to play/compose. I want these guys to make it so that this style of music can be continued...
