Communism has been a catastrophe based on the learned behavior of human beings to become greedy and corrupt. If we changed the value system then this wouldn't happen. Unfortunately it's too late. I think this man is unbelievably stupid. Communism is the most beautiful idiology to ever come out. Nu labour were nowhere near communist. He obviously hasn't done his research on communism.
@oasisfan2005 You don't get it at all. First of all, communism is/was a catastrophe, founded on the confused wrong-headedness of Hegel. Second of all he is talking about covert communism. The point about covert communism is that is solely a social control device which has nothing to do with equality ('everyone's equal but some are more equal than others'). I think you need to do some research - start with Animal Farm and then move on to The Gulag Archipelago.

You have never lived under a communist/marxist rule because there has never been one. Russia was socialist Stalin and Lenin's interpretation of Marxism known as Leninism, then Stalinism, but under Stalinism there was so much corruption that it became a capitalist dictatorship of the proletariat.

Fabianism a little known branch of Communism.
There were 300 in the Blair/Brown administration- the rest are more coy- Tories and Libdems tend to keep stum. a few are known.
Having lived under Communist/Marxist rule- don't tell me it's beautiful!
Brown wasn't writing childrens books at Uni- but books on Marxism.
Darling the chancellor was a Marxist - Akin to the USA FED, Jack Straw- "I'm more a Stalinist" than a Trot.
