The Muppets sing at the Disney D23 Expo

wow, this was when the Muppet movie was first announced! and to think it comes out in 4 days!

@Tenorsax621 Actually, at the time the movie announced was "The Cheapest Muppets Movie Ever Made". But around early 2010 they dropped it in favor of "The Muppets". I attended this event and the 2011 D23 expo (I have the D23 Gold Membership) and I have to say that Artie Esposito was fantastic at performing Kermit, especially at singing the Rainbow Connection, although Kermit didn't talk for the rest of day 2 and didn't make anymore appearances after day 2 at D23 '09, which was sad.

I wonder if the Muppets visit their original home at The Jim Henson Company to meet their family (the Hensons if you don't know) from time to time.

I've heard rumors Disney is planning a relaunching of the Muppet Franchise. Can't wait! :)

The Muppets are currently filming a new movie and its going to be released in theaters November 23, 2011. (That's the U.S. release date)

I was there when they had the D23 Expo and the Muppets were there. It was so beautiful when Kermit sang The Rainbow Connections and to see the whole Muppet gang there. Made me feel like a child again
