@EYEReive Yes if you have wirering harnest and ecu and cross member and motor mounts. But usaly people go the other way they drop the probe V6 in the MX3
well little do you know. this engine is caburated so no programing for emision.
this little engine can turn at 7200rpm all day I got 2.85 gears in this car in 2nd gear I wil lrun 6.04 final gear that mene on my home track I will rev at 6600rpm at 90mph
and doing a lap at about 20sec's that is a top 5 runner at my track it;s a small track and because of the rules I could not use the V6 2.5L other wise I sure would yes it is stronger but its very heavy compared to this 1.9L new update soon
wait a second... is that thing carberated? i really hope not. going from fuel injection to carbaration- from a bigger engine to a smaller engine- and a faster one to a slower one- i'm guessing if its carberated it probably gets worse gas milage too...
... probes arn't the best cars in the world at cornering. i'm not saying their bad but their not like a RX7 or a Fiesta. i would have just not competed in that compition or race, whatever it was. that 2.5 V6 is awesome, especially if you swap it for the KLZE style. when i had a 91 '"'GL'"' probe it beat a Escort ""GT"" no problem. idk it just seems like alot of work and not a good reason
the racing rules are . swaping of 120hp MAX 4 cylinder engine only. since this had a V6 I could not use the engine. so now i got a body that will cornner like it on rails. and a engine that can rev pass 7000rpm all day long . But I have a other engine has a spare if this does not work out.
is it possible to drop a MX3 1.8 v6 K8-DE or K8-ZE into a 2.0 4cyl Ford Probe?

@88ESCORTGT aren't the motor mounts in the same location? and I have the complete MX3 and probe, so i could take the ECU and wiring harness from it?
