@legoboyawesome123 I have flowmaster 40 series mufflers that dump right after the rear axle. I don't like how loud it is so I'm going to extend the exhaust out the back of the stock exhaust cutouts.

What did you have to do to get it in? Do they make a conversion kit or is it all fabrication

@rdvalla Lots of fabrication. It's basically a shortened S10 pickup frame with a bug body. I had to cut a ton of the original body out. Google "V8 Super Beetle" and you should find some of my build threads.

i love the v8 bug it looks great and sound great (two thumbs up) i also like the paint, i was wondering if it was hard to do? did you block sand the primer? what fluid tip did you have on the gun? was it a hvlp?

@hatchbackfreek Thank you. It was time consuming, but worth it. I did block sand the whole car. I used a 1.4 tip. It was a harbor freight HVLP gun. Search "garage paint job, budget" and you'll find some helpful tutorials which I used as well.

That is one awesome Beetle. I've never seen the Summit paint on a finished vehicle yet, I'm glad it looks so good. You should contact them when it's all put together and see if they want to make it a cover car. They need to show one with thier paint.

i take it your gas tank is with the electric fan/radiator?and did you put the gas tank door in yourself?

I did put the gas tank door in myself. Normally they're in the front. The gas tank is separate from the radiator. It is in the back under the firewall. Just behind the seats if you will. Right over the rear differential.
