  • なんでこんなこもったような音なの?

  • Diggin the Deep Purple @ 1:13."If you're lazy,stay in bed,If you're laaaaaazy just stay in bed,you don't want no money,you don't want no bread"AWESOME.

  • These come with P100 stacked humbuckers.I had 2 from the early 90's.

  • sounds a bit shit to me..sorry.

doesn't help when the guy demoing plays like he's still wearing the gloves from his last bout.

  • i have '91 that i bought in '92 for $609.90(i still have the reciept). let me tell you they would have to pry it out of my cold dead hands. easily the best guitar ever made!

  • @userboy6 i have same one 1991 but mine has the p100's tv yellow, grovers, p100's i like it a lot but wish it came with the p90's for that grit

  • These are actually excellent guitars.. no offense to the player but he really doesn't do it justice.. also what ever amp they are playing thru sounds like crap.. I am just uploading a sound clip that will at least let you hear the quality of tone these things actually deliver. They are definitely worth checking out. I also just uploaded a clip of their LP Icon guitar.. also a very nice guitar for the money.

  • Dam that's the worst guitar tone on earth Sorry you should not be touching that guitar

  • damn,i love 50's gibbys, but this sounds terrible.and with the wraparound tailpiece,it looks like its hard to play.much rather have a true humbucker goldtop.not this cheap imitation.

  • its a real Gibson. They just need a better set amp and recording devices and a better player wouldn't hurt.

  • i know, but its like a cheapo gibson, not a true humbucker burst paul or goldtop.i hate these single coil cheap wraparound guitars gibson has, like the melody makers.

  • thats a vintage les paul spcial they had wrap arounds and P90's and they are very high quality

  • sounds a little thin to me. or is it on a pocket sized amp?

  • no. he just can't play worth shit.

  • My local guiar center has a 1996 Gibson Les Paul Special in TV yellow color. Its in dead mint condition. The frets are practially in unplayed condition. Everything is completely stock and it is priced at $1299. Is this a good price or can I haggle it down lower?? How much should I shoot for? It does not come with a case, but Im sure I can get them to throw in a SKB case.

  • dude, no... i know im 5 months too late according to when you made this post.. but NO. you can go to a local mom n pop shop and find these things all day for under $1000, hell even under $700 in some cases. you just have to look. i got mine for $375 WITH the brown/pink LP case.

  • and where would these shops be located???

  • $375.00 for a Gibson Les Paul? Deal of the century. Even $700.00 would be a very very good price. If I sound skeptical....I am.

  • good luck to anyone looking to find a gibson les paul for 350 hahahah

  • @fretboarder competition music Ft. Worth Texas

  • @1964SG hey douche-bag that guitar is a 1957 Les Paul Special I will give you Five Thousand Dollars if you bring me a 1957 Les Paul just like that one...I dont care if its scratched & dented......you bring me a 1957 LesPaul Special I will pay your air fair, your hotel and meals to bring me the guitar YOU bought "all day for under $1000, hell even $700 in some cases" Hell, I will even get one of my lovely lady friends to blow you..can you come through "Mr. Crazy Head"? bet you cant pussy

  • @fzappa007 ok look here bud... if you would take the time and read other peoples comments you would see that i was NOT in ANY way shape or form talking about buying a 1957 LP Jr. for $375... I was replying to gmlasam's post about buying the 1996 LP Jr for $1299... and also if you notice i wrote that comment a year ago and replying on youtube was different than it is now. so no, im not gonna get you a 57 LP and i definitely dont want your whore ladyfriends sucking my dick. have a nice day sir.

  • This is my dream guitar ... If i had one wish i'd wish for money, then fund a time reversal project, then go back in time and play that guitar for 50 years 'til I'm back here typing this comment.

  • nice!!!! i wish i could go back in time to 1957 and buy one cheap!

  • yea i always wished that to but then i thought of like it would the same as today because back then wages were shit and stuff lol either way gibson should have a one day 50% off sale nation wide i would love

  • better know as a TV special...Mohogany body.. one piece neck...wonderful P90's...lots of hum but great tone ..needs to be played thru a better amp...

  • get a better player to demo ya'lls guitars. this is awful.

  • wow.. did i insult your dad?

  • Holy shit, I got alot of practising to do.

  • whats the first song please!!

  • hes just improvising

  • wow your pick attack sounds like a pack of wolves

  • i got a 57 from my dad who used to be inna band and im not super good but i can get thru most of purple haze without sounding bad but practice makes perfect good job dude

  • せっかくいいのなのに こんな音でやったらもったいない

  • i can make beather guitar:))lol

  • Seriously ? you think thats a good tone ? You have too much bread!Rich kunts like you shit me ...fuck off

  • Bad tone; mediocre playing; but still one of the greatest guitars of all-time from the golden years of Gibson electrics.

  • it looks like a toy..

  • Sounds very thin, sell it and get a PRS.

  • P-90's with what I'd guess is a fender amp. That could be thickened up.

  • It's definitely due to the type of amp (and settings used), as well as the player. This guitar should sound incredible under the right conditions. Definitely not the best effort to show-off what this instrument can really sound like.

  • i want a les paul vixen.

  • If I paid 10K for a guitar with tone like that, I'd cry. I seriously have heard Squire 51's sound better.

It has to be the amp because I have heard and played 50's specials that will make you weep.

  • maybe if they got someone who could actually play it properly it'd sound better

  • It just shows that the whole vintage thing is a complete myth. It's all rubbish perpetuated by greedy Bastards wanting to make a quick buck or a thousand on a lump of old wood. The recent guitars are good enough - by one and learn to play properly.

  • whats da song?

  • I have one coming to me in the mail!

  • i want a pickguard like that for my 56 goldtop but white.

  • chris carrabba of dashboard confessional uses one, its amazing!

  • They made it that color so that it would show up on black and white television. Mah Daddy has one. :)

  • the sound of les Paul junior 58 vos and special 60 vos it is different ? or the sound is more aggressive on one 58

    good tone :)

    thank you

  • great rock/blues axe, and it's only what? $12,000? Sounds great. What kinda amp you using, please?

  • you're an idiot, you have no idea what guitar that is, its a gibson 1957 les paul special, all their specials have no trapezoidal inlays, and that guitar even looks like a VOS special, its pickups are p90's, dont say things you have no idea about...

  • No.

  • NO it's exactly what it says it is. A 1957 Les Paul Special. JUNIORS have 1 pickup. Why would you post on things you don't know about.

  • i have a fender mustang

  • your guitar are gibson?. How much does it cost?

  • haha he fucked up

  • Really could use some reverb. I think it sounds thinner because of the dryness.

  • It sound thin because its on the bridge pickup. BTW itshimkevinkim, gibson makes plenty of guitars still with P-90s. Not rare at all.

  • they dont make the LP specials anymore they havent for a while and yea i know they still make gibons with p90s not necesarily les pauls but SG's LP Jr's and yea.. i guess it was something i didnt type in my fault on that part

  • its a real gibson look it up pickups are p90's you wont see them as gibson's anymore so you'd have to look for them at gibson custom shops learn about it its actually a pretty good guitar and pickups and fretboard are different and that doesnt make it not a gibson

  • yea exactly. thats the way gibson makes their special models anyway. the specials never have tha trapezoid inlays. vand gibson is using P-90s on their new Sg Special.

  • nah its real gibson never puts trapezoid inlays on their special models.

  • p90's and a LP special.

  • Terrible sound to be a Gibson, and special no less

  • yea but it has matured imagine what it would have sounded like new with unmatured wood.

  • doesn't sound very fat compared to other les pauls. is it just because of the P90's or what your running it through?

  • good job !

  • hes not using tabs.. hes using feeling and improvisation..

  • Does anyone have the tabs or the name of the song if so, can you send it to me? Thanks

  • I´m more into the fender guitars like Mustang and Jaguars but I have to admit that this specific Les Paul model sounds terrific! I want one

  • someone i kno owns a Fender Mustang.

  • wooo Lazy :9

  • Les Pauls are the best for me. I've got an old knockoff I'm repairing right now (I don't know how old, mind) but before the wiring broke it was the best guitar in the house. The Les Paul Model is chosen by many because they employ jumbo frets for easy playing and that sweet fat sound they produce.

  • Those guitars sound better in person. His playing is not bad but what the heck amp is he playing through? I heard a real 57 that made me want to weep ;)

  • he holds the guitar really akward

  • He's a big guy first of all. I have this guitar. The cut at the bottom of the guitar is so close to the neck that it sits on the lap in such a way that it makes for a little awkward playing. Takes getting used to. CHEERS.

  • it dont matter how u hold it, its what you do with it

  • ibanez is going with the crowd too =] go with the gretsch pricey but friggin amazing or u can never go wrong with the prs =]

  • I s'pose it is but I like Ibanez because they are lovely to play with xD Ive heard Gretsch guitars are pretty nice but Im only 14 so I cant afford one for the moment :)

  • great guitar and sound.

  • I keep watching videos and finding guitars I like. I like the sound of this one!

  • good guitar....but never say never....my guitar is fantastic...

  • mmmh...i just love the p-90...good guitar, good playin' i love the LP lol!!

  • Wonderful guitar I got a similar model with Humbuckers the neck is great a 60´s slim type, very fast action, I loved the p100 sounds of your guitar but you forgot to play using the midle pickup possition and the neck position so we can get a full picture of how this baby cries. Best Wishes.

  • from 1:12 he's playing Lazy , a great song from Deep purple

  • can you tell me what song htat is? or if possible the tabs/

  • nice guitar

  • so what do you think of les pauls period?

  • only one word to describe them "indescribable"
