the gospel is good news. Joel Osteen is right. It says in the Bible that it's the goodness of God that causes man to repent. Why do Christians want him to preach about sin when Jesus paid for all our sins. What's wrong with telling them the good news? He is an encourager. People are jealous.

What the "christian critics" do is show how much of their human sinfulness and anger and jealously, small-mindedness, judgemental frame of mind. They do not know Jesus. If they did, the fruit of the Holy Spirit would be evident in their LIVES AND WORDS. "Rylucero" is typical of a dead letter. He is devoid of the life of Jesus and thinks God is all about woe and abomination. The Acceptable Year of The Lord is foreign to these guys. They hate Jesus' love. Its because they do not know Jesus at all. They have no love because they are not in HIM. They are critical loveless bags of wind that have no clue what they are doing

I've noticed that everyone ignores "Rylucero." I can see why. The scriptures he uses are typified as a loveless baby in a high chair that has not grown sufficient in Christ to know anything and it will probably take years, if at all, for him to get real understanding, not just of the letter that kills, but of the Spirit Who gives life. In the meantime, he will continue to chase down those he does not "like" and spout off bible texts against them at his will.

Thank you Joel Osteen. I believe each person has their own Calling, and Joel is doing what he is called to. We are in the last days and many have been in abused homes/relationships, done drugs and other illegal things that have hurt them inside and out. Alot of people act the way they do because of their past hurts and pains. His messages of hope & love encourages those who have given up on their family, given up on their lives to come to a loving Father. One who never gives up on us.

I have no idea what you guys are talking about, i think joel is an amazing person, in no way has he ever called himself a prophet. He does not want to say anything like all people who do not believe in christ will go to hell because we really cannot say for sure that is what will happen. Would a muslim child who died for natural causes go to hell? A prophet testifies of Jesus Christ as the Son of God, that He died for our sins, they preach of repentance, condemnation, judgment, sin, and eternal torment. These are the things that prophets of God do, but that Joel Osteen as a false prophet does not.

It's important to remember that a positive Christian message is such because it contains the Redemptive Truth of Jesus Christ. That's not dwelling on past sin and putting onesself through false guilt; Jesus took the penalty. It's knowing that we Do have high potential, but it's about our sanctification much more than our blessings. The sanctification IS the greater blessing, but it involves an awareness and forsaking of sin, and a forsaking of all worldly things in hot pursuit of Jesus.
