@elmokid15 any guitar can be used for metal. it depends on what pickups you put in it, and what type of effects/distortions you use. even a basic strat can sound good if you drop the tuning and use the right distortion.

You know, it means that when you pluck the string there are sth like 2 sounds, the low one and the high one. Natural is the high one.

You can hear that when you just wait till the string stops making sound.
