I have 2 kids and neither of them have ever been on a leash and my oldest is autistic try parenting and pay attention to your kids and you wont need a leash!!!!!

I was booted off of a Mommy blog called Momslikeme for my comments about NOT putting your child on a leash. Putting a child on a leash is not necessary. Hold my hand, stay close to me, or get back in the stroller. You are not teaching a child anything other than yanking him backward, when they go to far. There are plenty ways to keep your child safe and close to you. Watch the one where the mom drags child through verizon store on the floor with a leash. SHAMEFUL! BS!
This is horrible. If your kid is miss behaving you teach him or her. You don't put them on a leash. It's degrading. If you can't the time to raise your kid properly why have one? Kids are human beings and just because there small and learning doesn't make them any less. Don't you forget, you were a kid once too.
A baby is human if you haven't noticed and I'm pretty sure you wouldn't want to be on a leash. If you don't like being on a leash a baby won't like being on a leash and since a baby is no less human then you or me or anyone it is degrading.

I think it's a good teaching tool....when they start to wonder, Parents can safely teach them (in words) to stay near BEFORE they reach the end of the safety tool "the leash" . My niece picked out her "special backpack", and she LOVES it! She even sleeps with it. I DO think it's a good thing up until just before age 3. By then Parents should have taught their child boundries :-)
yes, it not a leash it not around their neck it a cute little monkey with a harness like a child seat restraint. small kids wander and if you have to deal with more than 2 small kids you would be glad to have it. when i have taking my little ones to Disney it good to keep track of them.

Yes, EVERY child should be on a leash unless the parent can teach them better.
Dogs on the other hand, do not always need a leash. My dog at least comes when I call her and doesn't throw tantrums in public, nor does she shit or pee unless its on grass. 99% of kids are incapable of those simple things.
