I've got the version of the Magnavox Odyssey 2 with controllers that AREN'T hardwired into the console.. I can't find one on Ebay, anywhere, so, I have no idea what's it's worth.... Do you know what it's worth, if I was to sell it?
I'm glad we're going back to a single chord for video and audio (HDMI), because all that yellow and red and white crap was getting annoying. Not to mention all the component crap.
Anyone know how to replace a controller on the magnavox / Videopac? Because I can buy a new set of controllers here, because the ones I have a broken. Do I need to solder?
I bought mine in box with like 9 games with the manuals and boxes and also 1 extra controller that looked like it was taken out from another one all for $6 at my flea market today. And... K.C.'s KRAZY CHASE CAME WITH IT YEY!!!
my dad had an odyssey 2, and in the early 90s i would see it lying around in an old cabinet or the attic or something and id think it must be sooo cool, bc i didnt know about shitty 70s games, all i knew was nes. but even though i never played this system i distinctly remember the console and controller design
I still cannot imagine why a designer would use built in controllers...it just seems like a huge liability, and would it really be so much cheaper? At least not all models of O2 used that style.
i have all 11 of my gamesystems plugged in on 2 power strips of one outlet, plus the tv and surround sound. all on one outlet, had it this way for 3 years and nothin happened.
@InecomCompany i just gotta say i went to your website for the first time after watching the majority of all your videos and i have to say the ebay auto search feature is neat! granted i have been collecting for ever and have many many systems at this point its still neat to see what things are going for and if its something i do not have it sure makes it easier to find THANKS!
RCA to Coax adapter? Bah!
It's not a REAL video game system if it does not connect to your TV with antennae leads attached by two screws.
Yes. You heard me right. SCREWS!

Hold your breath.
2) Copy all of these steps.
3) Go to two other video.
4) Paste it in the comments.
If you can do all of this without breathing you're a good pot smoker

Sir at Inecom, I must truly credit you for keeping this MASSIVELY interesting! This is the point of YouTube, in a single video (or three!)
And NOW I wished we kept our old ColecoVision/ADAM system - you would have inspired me to reinvigorate it or something!
