it shall always serve 1 purpose... praising the Lord!

  • I love this song. Keep on singing for Jesus.

  • are YOU building YOUR OWN kingdom? Are YOU singing this for YOURSELVES and not for God?

YOU may sing better but what YOU SING is not about YOU but about GOD.

  • our choir sings this as a warm up - but we sing it slightly different

  • Many people may not be aware of this, but that song was composed by the late Great Rev. Donald Raymond Vails..

    Just an FYI

  • this old school at its best!!!!

  • Those elder ppl still gotta!!! SING IT!!!

  • pretty good for an a capella choir. most need an organ to modulate on key.

  • Who is the orignal folks that sings this song?

  • Is that Myron Butler? OH MAN, his CD is EXCELLENT!!!!

  • Is this a Methdoist Church?

  • yes

  • yes...

  • I direct this song for my mass choir back home in Augusta, and since I moved to Atlanta, I miss it. This is wonderful!!! God bless!

  • You have to applaud anybody for having the nerve to broadcast themselves on a world-wide website, Kudos, and you all did good! Who is the original choir who sings this song?! Haven't heard it in a while. Thanks, CJ

  • My group and I sang this for a small show a few weeks ago. Our harmony was HOT, and we arranged it so there was a slight, pause before (emphasis on) "things", with the harmony consisting of 1st/2nd tenor, baritone, and bass. This sounds good, but, as constructive & positive feedback, I'd say they need to bring the volume down a little and the harmony just a little closer. Each group sounds good, but, it sounds more individual competition than harmony.

  • Actually, the more I listen, it sounds like the harmony was great, then fell apart a little..OR it's just all bad sound quality in the recording. Either way, I did like it.

  • Hello Stevie586. Thanks for viewing my page and your kind words of encouragement. Peace and Blessings upon your life...like a River! Jonathan

  • Hello, Jonathan, and likewise to yourself. BTW, I just realized the "20747"; you all are right in my neck of the woods (Columbia here)! Anyhow, great to hear you all sing.

    Stevie
