Oh, and speaking of Tahrir, those protests were also STRICTLY non-violent and peaceful...until roving gangs of Mubarak-hired undercover cops started breaking shop windows, throwing rocks amd molotov cocktails, stealing things, and generally terrorizing the place like THUGS! I think everyone just wants fairness...sometimes that's taken as socialism, but nobody really wants that in US!

@globalpreparation I think its fair to give everyone the opportunity to keep as much money as possible that they work hard for...and its fair to let those people save their money or fuck it up. i don't want to take money from the rich...i want the government to stop taxing me for every little thing I do. I agree with you but it does sound like socialism is being preached at some parts of these protests...idk if they know what socialism is...but they need to realize what capitalism really is

This was neither bad nor pointless...if you think so it's more your own reflection. As for bad...did you not see the cops purposely let themselves be backed off. That was a significant message at least from those cops..You know they can't all be against the protestors anyway..Some of them do get that they are the 99% too.
