  • What gets me is so-called Gifted and Talented programs. I've yet to see a single person in those classes who is gifted or talented. They are however, good at rote memorization and regurgitaion. Gold star. You scholar, you. Give me a break!

  • School is for dumbing down students, not making them smarter. It makes me sick when I think about how much of my time I'm wasting...it's every single day they force me to go to this place I hate, I'm depressed and don't care about anything or anyone anymore...this doesn't happen during the few breaks they actually give us...to top it off, I have no energy to learn the things I actually care about, when I get home from school all I can think about is how terrible my day was.

  • @128gggwtf I feel the same way, I don't know what to do!

I just want to find a job and just work.

  • Good video!

  • @EmpathicGabriel Thank you so much for you thoughts on the videos ☻

  • @Koolvedge Glad to share my opinion and i also applaud you for speaking these truths!

The time will come when people will no longer be conditioned to be mere robots!

  • College culture from my view is so predictable. Quasi to how smear-campaigns and whispering campaigns function.

  • We sink or we swim together. 4th grade mantra. Our school did away with grade skipping, said it wasn't fair to the other kids. So smart kids are pulled down instead of the other kids being pulled up. Welcome to the USA. United States of Average.

  • I am 40 years old.

I have spent the last 24 years trying to recover from the experience of being sent to school. It has been the most painful and destructive experience of my life.

I would rather die than inflict schooling on my child.

  • @asubjectiveopinion You are very honest adult. Thank you

  • Schools NOT for learning. thats wild Emerson said that. I tell people that ALL the time. Its just about learning the system and administrating an agenda that isnt beneficial to you..its s Sham..Aside from the points made in the video..its a business. the Text Book Racket alone...the Loans and all that. Setting you up for Debt right out the gate.

  • @seldomsceen Thank you ☺ i am really glad to be one of the adult that teens and children can remember when they get older as someone who had the courage to speak out and present self evident truths in the face of the sleepwalking population. I let all students {college included} that school isn't as much about learning as it is about agreeing. Text books are like written implants. The mind is so amazing that they need schools to harness its power from youth

  • yea... but how to tell my parents about it.. i am so scared and lost

  • @truTTh100 That's the first step. Now all you need to do is let your passion guide you. Obtaining a G.E.D.would satisfy most parents and trade schools will give skill to earn money. So many ideas, but they must be organized and you need to focus on what it is that you want, really.

  • Being an autodidact as well as being forced to up with impertinence, It leads me to a disapproval of the way culture is represented in an antagonistic domain.

  • Wow I was the good student everyday and Nathaniel and Rodney would act up so bad the teacher made us all write 4 pages out of the dictionary exactly every dot that we saw, and I tried so hard but couldn't write very fast so when everyone else was finished I was the only one still working and they were all mad at me for us missing recess. So even with perfect behavior I still got punished and then looked down at for things I didn't even start. I have several more. My children will be homeschooled

  • @agentwolf046 very true :)

  • It's not murder, it's the War on the Nation of Terror.

    Excellent.

  • if you are targeted by the system for whatever reason, the best thing to do then is stand your ground. if you do you will likely show the teachers you are not a pushover and keep some people on your side. however caving in under pressure makes you an easier future target and no student will support you for giving in to something you don't believe in. they let you slide through high school but try to destroy you in university so you really lose all your morale.

  • school is a government taking institution. those who are deemed smart and open minded will be taunted by everyone to shut them up and try to destroy them later. the reason is because the government becomes stronger if the mass is more arrogant, and to make someone arrogant you need to make them think they are intelligent and make them feel better about themselves.

  • @ultradumbass Great comprehension!

  • The biggest problem that I found with the American education system is that it teaches lots of data/facts, but doesn't teach how to process or to think critical of those facts. And it rarely, in my experience, teach how those facts were arrived at. In fact many of teachers said or implied that these are the "facts" accept it as the gospel.

Friends in Germany have told me that in their country, teachers teach and demonstrate . . .

  • [cont] both opposing sides of an issue. Even such issues as the rise of Hitler, the holocaust, and other historical events. When they spoke of this, my schooling never even down this path. For example, I distinctly remember HS history where literally in one page they went from the end of WW2-Eisenhower sending the troops in AK-to Kennedy's assassination. It wasn't until the last 10 years that I learned the history of this same time period. And read opposing views as well.

  • Evidence shows that both countries, and many others, retard children so badly that it enables mental control of the adults, and children, by people such as hitler, bush, and others with nazi-like agendas. If people were really being taught and using most of their capabilities, then it would be very hard to implant propaganda. american history is so full of lies that it's literally disgusting. it's a pale, bleached out, mental infection that 2 many unquestionably believe. Thanks for your comment.

  • I found out about this book from a counselor from a camp... completely changed my life.

  • Hey man, regarding the last comment you made in the video regarding pain being a sign of growth, it brings me to an old quote but it applies "pain is just weakness leaving the body" and although that applies to physical sports, i think it readily applies to the conscious state as well. The pain of truth is just "ego" leaving the body. It's the slow awakening from the zombie like state everybody is in. But everybody enjoys their ignorant comfort zone while they enjoy a big mac at mcdonalds

  • Great analysis!

  • I'm one of those angry students who finished all 12 years, regrettably. college is a bit better though, but I would drop out if i got a chance to go back and seek education in an alternative way that actually has meaning and doesn't have the threat of grading and multiple choice testing. works your short term memory, and you never remember it again. it's such a waste of time and brain space and makes you stupid. All the quotes are so true and I empathize with all of them.

  • Whats the name of the book you're reading from ?

  • It's The Teenage Liberation Handbook {How to Quit School and Get a Real Life and Education} written by Grace Llewellyn.

  • Seriously, I'm 17 and I'm almost graduating high school. All they want you to do is cram in as much information into your head as possible and pass the finals when they come around. Lol, you don't end up learning anything essential besides getting to class on time and making sure you don't get any detentions.

  • Your videos are AWESOME!!!

I unschool my 7 year old (always have - she's never been to school) and she is just amazing because I don't mess with her "learning". It's amazing what children can learn and know when we don't screw with them and force then to know certain things at certain ages. I totally support your videos and knowledge that you share. THNANK YOU!!!!

  • sorry if my comments seem to be all about me, me, me. im just trying to use real life examples and personal experiences that have sadly affected my life deeply. which is why ppl think im weird and might think why im so resentful and bitter to the "system" in which we live in. i have my reasons and their proof enough. thanks again for posting such great information. i wish i was home schooled.

  • Your comments are always welcome, and I believe they help everyone. You are actually right on target. When we realize what we live in it has a way of depressing us. The proof is all around us but many choose to stay asleep. You, and I, my friend, are awake. There are many others like us. I choose to make these videos so youth will have another voice to help free them, and others will have confirmation that it's not only them that feel this way. We need to find each other and start the healing.

  • right on. thanks again. :) glad to have found these.

  • school isnt for learning because i looked n the website and it says teaching kids to be respectful and responsible and it says to teach us to contribute to the global community and that is the mission for my school that has nothing to do with education that is what prisinors need to learn so its like saying that we are prisioners but we dont know it. AND THIS IT TOTALLY PROF NO LIES!!!

  • cos to the government, they think of us as slaves and think they own us like were their property. we have to contribute to the economy, work our butts off trying to achieve the american dream that doesnt exist anymore, get fat eating mcdonald's, receive high blood pressure because of it, depend on medication, become stressed and depressed over debts and paying bills, and then die b/c said blood pressure was too high. thats what happened to my dad. he was never happy but he's much happier NOW.

  • 5 stars

  • Man, good topics / good videos!!! I am glad you are posting these

  • What is your opinion of the Montessori Method?

  • It depends, some say that the curriculum is great but I've heard some complaints about the quality of certain teachers. I think we all know that the best teachers are mothers, but not many of us have time to teach our own and still turn the machine to make money for our necessities. It's designed that way. The trick is to re-design it to work for us instead of working for it. The Montessori method is better than public and certain private schools.

  • Considering some mothers - I've met a few - are several generations down on the schooling indoctrination ladder, I'd argue against the claim of mothers being the 'best teachers'. I'd rather go in the direction of children themselves being the best students. Then again I have issues with the lack of definition around the word 'teacher'.

  • I see where you're coming from. I have a section in my book about definitions. Authority confuses the masses with a type of newspeak {Orwellian, etc} Teacher, yes, is a confused word, because of what they've indoctrinated people to think it is. And that's really the answer, "what they tell people to think". You're also right on saying, Children "are" great students, but they also have so much to teach "us". If we'd only listen.

  • schools are prisons and prisons are schools.

    Kean Ghiero

  • einstein also said 'The only thing that interferes with my learning is my education.'

  • Great information!

  • Albert Einstein also said" I'd have a greater understanding of the Universe were it not for my structured education." Structured education is about making the population into cogs in the system. It has little to do with truth or expanding the mind. True mind expansion is about understanding human capabilities from the inside out, but, there have been those who for thousands of years have worked to keep this from becoming a reality. They work to CONTAIN the mind.

  • Kool !

  • Yes it is kool!...I find it interesting that so many of us...just like you... are now challenging the old established paradigm. We are collectively taking a beautiful leap! Blessings be upon thee!

  • Are you a homeschooling parent, also i love the information you share please continues

  • I've helped and watched my 4 older sisters, and noticed my 8 immediate nieces and nephews grow up being tortured by schools. I helped where I could, and the younger ones {who are now older} loved the idea, but all I could do was suggest. The method of delivery is extremely important. The 3 stages of truth. The free movie Earthlings on Google explains it pretty well.
