@MegaKees88 1)Right of return has nothing to do with whether you ask to return, a right can be exercised by anyone entitled to that right anytime they wish. 2)Racist Arab leaders and the Arab public expelled the Jews. People only forfeit their homes to become refugees under persecution. This also answers your 4th question. 3)You talk as if Arabs didn't bomb Jewish neighborhoods to force them out. Arabs started the war to push Jews into the sea. Jews are still there only because they won the war.

It has already offered to accept a select few refugees and pay compensation, but there is no possibility of a small Jewish state opening its borders to 7 million Arabs. If you don't want to make peace, fine, but if you want war, you will be crushed. Israel is stronger. Period.

For public schools, it's the school board & the public. For private schools, it's the people who own them & major donors. Most private schools have a 1-sided point of view that their teachers must conform to. Public schools have to avoid offending the point of view of any large, or politically powerful,[TBC]

I'm so grateful someone has the courage to confront Finkelstein on his deficiencies. I was very concerned at the time that AL AWDA invited him to the conference. I certainly appreciate and use his scholarship but his opinions and reluctance to look at Zionism as the real enemy of us all represents a blind spot too huge to ignore. On a KBOO radio interview he went out of his way, off topic, to bash one-state advocates. I lost much respect for him for the way he handled the Gaza Freedom March.

Your right about Finkelstein. Note how Finkelstein supports Uri Avnery's position on the boycott. Both he and Avnery only support a limited boycott targeting settlement goods but not against Israel itself. Finkelstein is a closet "liberal" Zionist wedded to the now bankrupt and discredited "2 state solution".

Great Post. This issue is always being diluted with fake paradigms. The Israelis treat the Palestinians worst than the S.Africans treated their blacks in my opinion. Thanks for the insight and unfortunately nothing will come of this until we wipe out all of the Israeli influence in all aspects of our government, media, and Pentagon. Not to mention the many special interest groups they have over here in the US. They have bought loyalty with MONEY and Influence.
