  • A whole video dedicated to 1 girl?

  • i tough this was the movie.....This is just, ah, SCOUT yeah that girl

  • ...her brother John is the director...

  • TKAM FTW

  • I love Scout.

  • lol anyone else who has seen the movie noticed she had converse on lol my friend connor noticed it

  • Great job, totally agree, she is easily one of the best child actors of all time in this film, just flat out epic.

  • i became a fan of her after seeing her on the twilight zone ep.

  • book kiked ass!!

  • Why can't this excerpt have the dialog? - its the point of the scene!

  • thank you for sharing.

  • wtf

  • Questo e il film che salverei da un disastro nucleare. Non avrei esitazioni.

se non avete mai letto il libro o visto il film vi consiglio di farlo alla svelta.

  • BADHAM!

  • she was so cute in child. but, too bad now xD

  • @XTdarkgainTX I feel bad now cause i thought she was a boy when i watched it as a kid lol

  • This was on tv in Holland last night.

1 a.m. and I wanted to go to bed. I ended up watching the whole movie. Somehow I had to see all of it.

  • Is it my imagination or is Gregory Peck's acting a bit stiff? Not as stiff as Paul Newman's, but Peck's acting isn't as fluid as James Coburn's or Charles Bronson's.

  • fine version of "isnt...

  • when you see the movie it really goes into the big scenes like when jem, scout and dill try to go and get a peek at boo radley and how they see his shadow etc. it is almost as good as the book. Sad part is I failed some test about it but i reread from the first chapter and got the answers back. And i still enjoyed every page of it

  • yes i think she is lovely

  • She was only in a few films after that, but she used to be so pretty

  • i've read the book twice! I didn't know they made a movie out of it, i can't wait to watch it!

  • i love scout! shes so cute!

  • Este foi um dos filmes mais enobrecedores que assisti. Enriquece a alma ver a pequenina Scot falando de maneir tãso simples e desconsertando as pessoas...

    Sublime!

  • shes was so prettyyy!

  • i know i like this book because im not a reader and i didnt really want to read it and once i started reading it i got so into it and once i watched the movie i knew almost all the parts they didnt show in the book and everything else. now i know why this book had over 4.5 million copies sold.

  • @heavyhitter5077 last time i looked, it was 11 million copies...such a brilliant story

  • @heavyhitter5077

where did you watch the movie? i want to watch it!!!

  • What a message: Kill Blue Jays but not Mockingbirds. Blue Jays deserve it--why? Stupid movie dumb-kee. Dumb-dumb book dumb-kee.

  • because moking birds only do work and sing music for us. its basically saying this cause of tom robinson. since he was black they just beleived bob ewell and arrested him once he didnt do anything and just tried to help mayella

  • Hi hitter:

We still need an explanation as to why "Blue Jays" have to be shot. Exactly how were Blue Jays hurting Tom Robinson?

  • 'Mockingbirds don't do one thing but make music for us to enjoy. They don't eat up people's gardens, don't nest in corncribs, they don't do one thing but sing their hearts out for us. That's why it's a sin to kill a mockingbird.'" Chapter 10, pg. 94 and it relates to tom robinson because how people were in maycomb they were being racist to blacks like tom robinson. so its basically saying that tom robinson was the moking bird and he was just a normal person he never did anything to anybody.

  • @heavyhitter5077 tom and boo are both 'mockingbirds' in the story

  • ya thats true too. the other quote from atticus was you dont know someone until your in their skin an walk in it a little (for boo and sorta tom robinson)

  • Are you sure that quote's on page 94? I know it's near the mad dog scene... I can't find it in the book now, but I need the quote for a project, the page, and who said it. My book project's due tommorrow...

  • atticus said that idk if it was on page 94 i forgot but i think he said that when he was talking to the cunninhams son because jem asked if he had a gun and that made atticus say that

  • Found it! It's page 90! I love that quote!

  • @lumpagogo the blujays represent the people in the book who have already lost there innocence,

  • It's still a stupid metaphor, cherry-01 and you already knew that.

  • @lumpagogo its a metaphor you idiot

  • who sings this song?

  • KEB' MO'

  • I love this movie and named my little dog Scout she was with me for 9 years R.I.P Scouty

  • I love this Story so much. I haven't seen the movie yet but I got it from the library. I am studying the book and it is marvelous.

  • No portrayal of Scout will ever compare to hers...she has simply set the standards too high =)

  • my names scout, i often get called scott but i still love this book soo much!! although i am obviously biased :)

  • aww xx i love this , were studying this in english , its amazingg

  • I'm sure that lots of people who apparently can't spell and who don't appreciate anything of value would agree with you...jackass.

  • @fadisalah132 why does the book suck i know its your opinion but why

  • i loved scout in to kill a mockingbird book. i haven't seen the film but i'd love to!

each sentence she said was just so funny- and i loved the swearing stage she went through. 'pass the damn ham please.' :)

  • this film is perfection.. and Miss Scout/young Mary Badham, a gem. every freckle. every inflection.

never forgot my surprise when, as an adult, I finally learned that the character "Dill" is.. (or is based on) the very real, very young Truman Capote!

  • she was my favorite charater in the novel. sooo cute :)

  • maycomb love?

  • OMG, idiots pay attention: SCOUT is a GIRL. Hello..."Miss Jean Louise Finch", her name was said more than once in the movie.

  • Comment removed

  • at first when i red the book i thought it was scott and i thought she was a boy opps but so did my sister her friend and my friend

  • Errr.. That's the most stupid thing I've ever heard!! You people obviously can't read then. Because 'Scout' is not 'Scott', and 'Miss Jean Louise Finch' is obviously not a name belonging to a male. Also, she's frequently referred to as Jem's little sister? And engaged to Dill? Dayuuuum..

  • wellllll sorry i thought that just in the beginning but then i found out dayuuuum

  • awesome movie...kids and a dad extraordinarie.

  • i lke the part from the book where scout kick the bad guys that tried to harrass his brother jem..love the book..sweet..

  • scout's adorable

  • i knoooow

  • lol this movie is very old adn it never really worked for me

  • omg im gonna read this book now :(

i dont like books its kind of boring ...

    xoxo

  • The book was really good, but I've only seen a part of the movie.

  • LOVED her acting in the movie. All the kids acted really well but she was so cute, adorable. As someone below said, that's exactly how I'd lso like to picture Scout while reading the book. Great book and a great movie!!! my absolute fav.

  • great book...

  • lol. Mary was so homely she was cute! She was a great kid! :)

  • amazing actess, i will never picture scout any different while reading the book, i would love to meet her, cute kid too.

  • recently met a couple of 5 year old twins, dead ringers for this lovely child - quite amazing, really

  • she looks a bit like a boy but i guess thats why they cast her.

  • yeah greenpurpleorangesod ...she is a tomboy

  • Yes she is lovely alright... Mary Badham will always be the perfect Scout, she's adorable and natural.

  • TKaM is an excellent book and movie

  • shut up haters!

    this video is adorable!

    i love it!

  • lol. She's sure a cute kid...

  • This song is really by Stevie Wonder, right?

  • believe it or not, i met her! she came to MU.

  • WOW I WISH I COULD MEET HER

  • beautiful. what song is that? whos sing it? i mean...maybe sound too sexy for a kid, but even so, i dont know why it works damm good. congratulations, that song and that pictures are really touching.

  • it works damn good because Stevie is singing about a baby...

  • This is the ONLY movie that is as good as the book. Amazing movie.

  • Quite agree, neither could be improved. Excellent writing in the book and great acting , if Gregory Peck did n´t win an Oscar there is no justice in the world.

  • @RegrindQueen You're forgetting The Shawshank Redemption - the movie is miles better than the book. TKAM and TSR are my two top films.

  • When i read the book thats exactly how i pictured her looking

  • SAME HERE!!!! =D. and Later I saw the cover of a version with a picture, just like her

  • i didnt imagine her like this, i like my way better lol

  • GREAT!

  • Lovely!
