This is so true... I've been in nursing for 23 years. I love older experienced nurses when I first started. When I would get upset or worried about a patient.. the older nurses would be so relaxed and say don't worry... just do this. I loved having them around. Such great knowledge and wisdom. But oh is the world of nursing changing.
