We didn't exactly get to see Hanzo fighting with everything he had. Who knows, maybe he was still capable of beating Mifune. Unfortunately Mifune used Talk-no-Jutsu, which in most cases is a 1 hit kill if the character isn't super important.

@Fuuton510 i personally think tsunade is the strongest of the three. her justu and skill set are probabbly the most usefull. it takes jiryia ALOT more energy/Chakra to kill the summonings apposed to tsunade who can just punch and kill one. and when she gets wounded she can just heal herself and get right back into it. if she went with him i'm sure they would have killed them easily.

Example; When Jiraiya summoned Ma and Pa toad (this was after the chameleon was defeated) they were talking about how they don't believe that Pain is the Child of Prophecy. And that was a scene cut out.
