Scorsese would still break out, Coppolla would break out, Hitchcock too. The whole thing is that the character of the filmmaker or actor that makes them. Ive spoken to Scorsese and seen talks hes given. The man is incredibly down to earth but focused, hes also got a measure of insanity as all creative types do. There is always pulp, you cannot have a media as we do and have nothing to compete with. In the sea of mediocrity do something crazy, they had to even without the internet.

This video belongs on the Kickstarter signup page. I must admit, I was totally lost trying to understand how a successful project worked last year. I felt bad accusing it of being a popularity contest, now I understand that is exactly what it is...but not in a bad way.
