I got my mate to put this on when my lot were really stoned and we fell asleep like little babies. We were smoking some of the finest but didnt wake up till the morning. In my eyes that makes the whole experience (this video) a true amazing piece, ahhh life.....

Is there a modern emulator or plugin that does these type of effects....i've done my research and all i find is info about scanimate. surely there is a modern equvilant with similar effects. i hate the modern transitions...i just need that psyched out color and some gooooey space shiza

First of all, you must apply effects to a MONOCHROME image. That's how the psyche color works, you recolor it AFTER you're done with the monochrome version.

About the FX, I don't know.

early computer graphics and animations is a lost art form. i loved it in the 80's and i remember slowly losing apreciation for it as it was being abused by hollywood. it just doesnt seem to have that new and exciting feel to it.

Totally agree. I got into computer graphics R&D in the 90s and now got bored with it (doing something else now). Once it left the experimental stage and became commonplace all over the silver screen it's lost its magic. We need to get back to the basics! Chunky low res graphics & colour banding! :^D
