The sword isn't shitty first of all, and later you learn on, he reaches for the sword because he needs it to supress his Dragon's Eye, Shin is more strong, and much more deadly without it.

I find it funny, that in both manga and Anime, bunshichi's fist is never shown touching the car.

@xionlord00 i think the idea is that he is projecting his Ki into the blow, so he dosent need to touch it. Tengou Tenge does the same thing with the ''Bicephalous Dragon Blow'' that Mitsoumi uses (wow i sound obsessed with TenTen lol)
