You should give the show a chance, I was positively surprised. Now I love it, and can't wait for next weeks episode ^^, I think the werewolves are my favourite-story here, eventhough I hated them in Twilight :p
I didn't think i would like this show, but I really enjoyed it! I'm a huge Buffy/Angel fan (who hates Twilight) and thought this would be just another vampire/werewolf show capitalizing on the current trend. But I am VERY intrigued to why these "people" are staying in this community!
Have to say though, I'm loving pretty much all of the characters (esp. the 2 sexy vampires!) but I HATE the police chief. I'm hoping he'll get mauled by the werewolves soon. srsly, he's annoying...

I agree, why complain about the vampire series when this new addition makes it only three in total! Compared to all the crime procedurals out there, including 3 CSIs, 2 Law & Orders, 2 NCIS, next season there'll be two Criminal Minds, and a bazillion others. Now that's ridiculous!
People need to STOP and think True Blood and Vampire Diaries are the first successful TV shows in that genre. Nobody seems to complain when we get yet another CSI rip-off or stupid crime solving series.

not another terrible knock of of vampire movies/books/shows. like we need more of this vampire rubbish. this just shows how people try to take advantage on whats marketable. they think girls are going crazy over the stupid twilight GARBAGE, so they are trying to get the fans of the movie to their show. i hope this show fails hard.
