  • P.S. where's my bailout for doing good and taking care of myself and my family!?!? oh thats right you only get help if you fail thats just peachy..... if you keep wiping peoples asses for them they forget to do it themselves

  • (Just to reiterate... Your "Bailout" came back in early 2000 when Bush gave the rebate checks out. And it hurt the economy BADLY. Be careful what you wish for, you may have already gotten it.)

  • the government and the media scared everyone into this recession and now that they want to pass health care/ insurance reform/ BS they tell us that POOF the economy is getting better so that we'll forget about that while they spend a shitload more of our money (which isn't even our money at this point from what i can tell anyways)on health care for people who want to eat every prescription they see on the t.v. while sitting around watching jerry springer & eating mcdonalds!!

  • FFS man, do you understand what you're talking about? Let me try to help you.

    1) Our economy is devastated by a HUGE amount of things that happened over the last 8 years. Bush came into office, gave out our surplus from Clinton as rebate checks in his 1st 100 days, Lowered taxes on the very rich and walked into 2 wars, one of which was unnecessary. At the same time, we also deregulated the markets, which led to instability as banks did what you would expect: they tried to make HUGE money(more)

  • 2) Economics is a science, meaning that hypothesis are tested and if they prove to be right, they are promoted to all out fact as a "theory". Do you know what Macro-Economics says you have to do to recover in a recession? The Government NEEDS to pump money into the system by infrastructure and other means. There is plenty of DEMAND for jobs, but no-one to supply the jobs: the government can give jobs to people who need them through infrastructure AND update our existing structures. (More)

  • By having the money pumped into the economy, you are creating jobs: satisfying the supply in the supply and demand. The demand side is always there, as there is always people needing jobs. By doing this, you are also taking people off of unemployment, freeing up money there.

Rebate checks to consumers never helps, as people don't spend it, they typically save it or pay off debt. That doesn't help the economy at all. It's called the Paradox of thrift. What may hurt now helps us all later. (more)

  • The economy is not "magically" getting better, the stimulus has SLOWLY been leaking into the economy, and it HAS added the supply portion. No "poof" about it.

    3) Fixing healthcare is VITAL in the longrun, as the current healthcare system is pulling us down ridiculously. The amount of Consumers declaring bankruptcy due to healthcare emergencies is atrocious, and the system now is completely for profit. All that is being proposed is a program similar to Medi-cal, except you CHOSE to buy into it

  • It is indeed a public option, as you do not have to buy into it, and you can choose to not take it at all. It will have lower administrative costs, as they aren't paying the top execs ridiculous amounts of money as the current insurance co.s are, and all of that money goes right back to the consumer. Also, they approach medicine in the same way Wal-Mart gives $4 pills now: They approach the manufacturers and say "we have X Mil people who will buy from you, and we want a lower price." (more)

  • This gives the Gov more bargaining power which gives us cheaper prices. And, there is legislation IN THE BILL which will prevent employers from dumping you out of your current insurance and onto the public option. So you will DEFINITELY be able to keep your plan and not have to take the OPTION. The option will simply provide more people coverage, which will keep less people out of the ER, which will LOWER YOUR premiums. You see how this could be a good thing, even if you don't use it? (more)

  • No socialism. no Gov't take over of healthcare, And all these predictions the republicans are making? They are EXACTLY the same as when we were trying to pass SSI and Medicare years ago. Verbatim. And none of them came to pass either.

Maybe I helped you understand, maybe I didn't. maybe you won't even bother to read to this point. Your option.

But now you cant say the information wasn't offered to you in a straightforward easy to understand way.

  • A four part plan for fixing our current problems:

    1) End the Fed Reserve, remove the "fractional banking" practice, forever more outlaw central banks.

    2) Return money to the Gold Standard or some other value based system, i.e. turn off printing press money.

    3) Make it illegal for the government to spend us and our children into mindless constant debt (balance the budget).

    4) Stop taxing the people to death and destroying our abilities to both sustain ourselves and future generations.

    Thank you

  • The people are waking up to the fact that the "Money men of NY" are the ones that really run this country, via the CFR, Trilateral Commission and other such groups. Politician's votes are often "bought" or otherwise corrupted. Our country is in the toilet as a result. Remember your sworn oath, and "the will of the people", and put the political process back as our founding fathers intended it.

  • Comment removed

  • i speak for 99% of oklahomans,,,,,,,, become our own independant country. pull out of the criminal federal government

  • I'm proud of you....It's too much pressure too fast to go through all those pages. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for protecting us. Keep up the good work. God bless you.

  • When are you going to stop your war on science?

  • The Neo-Cons successfully held the Republican party hostage throughout the 8 years of the Bush White House. How shameful. No wonder the economy is in tatters.

  • If by "neocons" you mean the liberal Republicans such as McCain and Bush, I agree with you.

We conservatives kept trying to tell them to stop acting like the Democrats, but they wouldn't listen.

  • Thanks, but where were the conservative principles of the Republican party during the last 8 years? It's too little, too late now.

  • I find it amazing that under Bush 2 the Republican Party has lost its way. We voted for them in the first place to stand and be fiscally responsible and they failed us. After losing in 2006 the Republican party still refused to do what we originally voted them in for....fiscal conservatism and accountablity. So once again, in 2008, the Republican leaders lost more seats in both houses. When will the Republican Party learn from their past mistakes and do what they originally promised us?

  • Memo to self-proclaimed "conservative" Republicans who (supposedly) want "less" government - For any of you who did NOT vote for RON PAUL during the primaries - when it COUNTED:

    You CHOSE not to listen.

Don't PRETEND that the "current" crisis comes as a surprise, or that you weren't warned (by many) of the inevitable consequences DECADES ago in the 80's - when the "fiscally conservative" (lol) president made RUNAWAY DEBT the national RELIGION.

You "lost your way" a LONG, LONG time ago.

  • We let people spend 100 million on their campaign for a job that pays 250k. That already shows how ignorant they are.

  • Sucks don't it? You have been trying to water down the Clean Air Act for thirty years! Don't hide behind the bailout you stinker! I bet you've never gotten your hands dirty-boy!

  • Actually, Obama requested Bush to ask congress to hand over the remaining 350 billion. (Obama is a fraud). (Actually Bush part 2)

  • I won't subscribe as it is not really my thing, but good on you for taking a stand.

  • Thank you sir.

  • WE DO NOT WANT THE BAILOUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm glad someone still has the cojones to point out that it's not just Democrats who are selling my generation down the river. Not that Dems aren't bad about it, but that there are some Republicans who have missed the whole point of limited government.

I usually assume that Politican = liar. it's nice to see one that hasn't proven me right.

  • Right on Senator! I wrote to my representatives today and told them NO MORE! They didn't get accountability for the money they already spent. No credit? Not true, I'm in the process of refinancing my mortgage. Companies receiving bailout dollars financing the inauguration festivities in addition to $10M of taxpayer dollars when we are in a recession? Money to UAW when they have 1.2B in assests? You are doing the right thing! Stand up for the American public! Thank you!

  • How is he doing that by taking in millions of earmarks?

Senator Inhofe's Earmarks as from Legistormdotcom

    Solo Earmarks - 49 - $111,262,200

    With Other Members - 56 - $86,955,400

    All Sponsored Earmarks - 105 - $198,217,600

  • Washington listen to the people? There's a new concept. I'm not holding my breath though!

  • Thank you Senator. How about supporting a repeal of the Federal Reserve Act?

  • Haha. Nice.

  • When is america going to wake up? Your government is owned by a covert shadow entity. CFR,BILDEBERG, they make your policy, they control your economy, they own your media. Stop believing the DEM'S vs REPUB's lie. It is used to make you think you have a voice. You are a socialized country. Do you want your country back? Then find out who the true masters are and deal with them, bypass the buffer zone called POLITICIANS.

  • thank you sir. we respect your decision

  • Thank you senator. Do what you can to stop washington fron taking money from future generations.

  • usdesertdweller

That's the best part for the Congress-critters. About 40% of US workers pay no federal income tax, so they have no reason to oppose bailout mania. It's not like they learned anything about macro-economics or history in public school, so they actually think this will improve the economy. They see nothing but upside for them.

"Take it from those rich Fat Cats (because you know they didn't earn it and they don't need that much money anyway) and give it back to the Workin Man."

  • Yeah, and the few who did take a few econ classes learned Keynesianism... Like you alluded to, the general populace is just too ignorant.

Couple that with the fact that artificially low interest rates set by the Fed only encouraged the irresponsibility that befell the country. Sadly, no one learned much from the Austrians' and Monetarists' thrashing of Keynes...

  • Thank you Senator! I've been saying for years that Bush's administration wasn't even close to fiscally conservative, and it only served to "pre socialize" the country for Obama.

When over 60% of the nation is screaming to your "peers" that they do't want the bailout and they pass it anyway, we have truly lost our freedom. VOTE THEM ALL OUT! Well, except for Sen. Inhofe!

Can we get a bill that rolls back the brand new pay raise they just voted themselves?!

  • Thank you Sen. Inhofe. 1 out of 535 is a start. TARP, must be the ebonic spelling of Ponzi.

  • Thank you Senator Inhofe for being one of the only voices of reason, principle, and truth in Washington! The additional $350B must not be released - get the government out of trying to manage the private sector and let the free market get back to work!

  • I agree with Senator Inhofe. This deal was ludicrous from the get-go.

  • Inofe is a Senator with a brain, such a rare thing to see. Senator Inhofe, I want to Thank You for speaking up.

  • Somehow, the federal government need to come with $2,500 for EACH PERSON in the US (not just taxpayers) to fund this.

Is everyone ready to make their $2,500 per person donation???

  • Our construction-related business is hurting too, but what we need is MORE BUSINESS, not a bailout!

    Thank you Senator Inhofe!

  • I'll give you Hatch and Bennett for one Inhofe!

  • Go Jim Inhofe!

    Right on!

God Bless you for standing up for us.

These bailouts are an outrageous missuse of our Tax Dollars.

  • Now, all the sudden, you are against the Bush administration? What a hypocrite! Bush has been acting in the manner of a despotic tyrant for quite some time, displaying a complete disregard for the will of the American people. Good morning, Mr. Inhofe, glad to see you've joined the party.

  • so good to hear someone stand up against this crime that congress is trying to perpetrate on the country.

  • Senator Inhofe is *absolutely right* in this case. 350 *billion* dollars has been absolutely wasted, with no results, going into the pockets of people who had no right to it -- and the next 350 *billion* will be also! Stop it in its' tracks.

  • Moral hazard is a bitch, ain't she?

  • I don't care if he's a poser or not, STOP the bailout, stop TARP, and stop the plunder!! Don't let big corporations or big bureaucracy rip off this country anymore!! Contact your representative, senator, etc. and tell them to stop the bailout!! Whatever you do, DON'T GIVE UP and let someone else tell you its useless!!

  • Senator Inhofe's Earmarks as from Legistormdotcom

    Solo Earmarks - 49 - $111,262,200

    With Other Members - 56 - $86,955,400

    All Sponsored Earmarks - 105 - $198,217,600

  • pwn3d

  • So rakrobn, I guess congress is justified in ripping us off???

  • I wonder how many earmarks Senator Inhofe has voted Yes on for his state. One person's earmark is another person's wasteful spending. Just go to google and type in Senator Inhofe's earmarks and you'll see his wasteful spending. His total being so far in 2008: $111,262,200. I'll send you the link as the comment boxes won't allow URLs.

  • doesn't surprise me. you can spot a fake when he is railing against the thing he himself engages in, it is a tactic to distance yourself from it. they use this tactic on gays and gambling too.

  • I should have known. The way he, everyone here talk as if he has done the conservative thing everytime and not taken any earmarks. Should have known too good to be true. Of course, it's always the motto: Do as I say, not as I do.

  • i can't believe a phony congressman like this guy, who voted for a pay raise for himself (while voting against minimum wage raise for me) would be taken seriously with his fake outrage and grandstanding.

but then, i do understand that people who vote republican are in the south and rural areas where information and knowledge are not valued.

  • First, had Inhofe lost the election, he would not have gotten the pay raise; check the Constitution.

Second, raising the minimum wage is A Bad Thing. All it effectively does is cause inflation and lower the value of the dollar. If the current minimum wage isn't enough for you, perhaps you should improve your skill set so you're worth more than minimum wage.

  • well i think the government should supply me with the tools to improve my skill set so i can be "worth more" than minimum wage.

scary that a human's "worth" in USA is determined by their "skill sets." unbelievable.

  • Yes, the real world is scary.

It is not the government's job to supply you with the tools to improve your skill set. If you wish to be free, then you must also be responsible for your own life. In the U.S., you can achieve anything you wish, provided you have the talent, discipline and put in the effort necessary. If you wish to enjoy the fruits of your effort, you can't require the fruits of others' efforts be given to you.

  • "It is not the government's job to supply you with the tools to improve your skill set."

well yes it is, that's why i came to USA.

  • Well, no it isn't. There is absolutely NOTHING in the foundation about mommy gov't providing for the citizens. This is the land of *opportunity*, not hand-outs. You want to improve your skill set, you pay for it, don't ask me and the other taxpayers to pay for it.

If you want to live in a nanny-state, go to Europe. America's for the self-reliant.

  • i went to europe, it is not as beneficial for me over there. i can milk the state for more here and do more things i like to do, mainly watch movies and play guitar.

  • Your support of minimum wage laws are a grand display of your unabashed ignorance. What do you think happens to those whose skillset does not justify a wage above the equilibrium? They're unemployed. As someone living on the east or west coast should know, given their love of "information and knowledge". Minimum wage and rent control are two issues that have perhaps the greatest consensus among economists. You, my "information and knowledge"-loving friend, are foolish.

  • i don't care about you, i like minimum wage laws because they force wage inflation instead of artificially lowering of them like you would want.

i really don't care how the rich make out

  • The effects of the minimum wage on inflation have the most profound effect on those who benefit from it--inflation has a much smaller proportionate effect on the wealthy then it does on the working poor.

The non-existence of price-fixing doesn't artificially lower wage rates, How can something be artificial if it is decided by the market?...

Using legislation to prop yourself up at the expense of the vast majority is corrupt and inevitably leads to tyranny.

  • haha whatever, minimum wage was increased during the best economy in our lifetimes under Clinton.

in fact the economy is always better with a rise in wages.

i like to say "a rising tide lifts all boats"

  • also, opposition to minimum wage is bad because it keeps the wealth in few hands, which always leads to economic downturns.

in USA the wealth should be spread more evenly.

  • What you completely fail to realize is that regardless of the disparities (growing or not), everyone becomes better off in a market economy with little or no regulation. Economies of scale, my friend.

  • not true, look at the last 8 years

  • Yes. Look at the last eight years. The last eight years were the result of failed monetary policy that started with the first Bush, was continued by Clinton, then again pursued by W. Obama is really following the same Keynesian quackery as the previous three, but the general populace is too ignorant to really understand that.

  • Keynesian quackery???

You mean Keynes, the forefather of Economics, which is a science?

You mentioned Clinton... Was it his failed monetary policy which led to us briefly having a surplus until Bush spent it all away in the first 100 days?

  • *Points at Senator Inhofe's video*

    That's MY Senator!

    *puffs chest out proudly*

  • The government could buy up the bad mortgages and loans and effectively end the problem. But no, they will hand the money to the banks again and watch it disappear.

  • Ever hear of moral hazard?

  • Good to see more people in Washington opposing the bailouts!! Come election time, I will NOT vote for anyone who supported them and is not actively pushing to revoke the whole TARP concept!

  • No one knows where this money is being spent due to their refusing to release details of whi is getting what. We only know that banks are NOT opening up lines of credit, and businesses continue to shut down.

Will Obama change this? I doubt it as the Democrat Congress certainly isn't doing a single thing to stop this waste.

***** 5 stars for Republican Senator Inhofe!!!!!

  • The cause of the crisis is not the banks' contraction of credit--that is the effect. The cause was the fact that the banks were wooed into giving out irresponsible loans due to artificially low interest rates set by the Fed. We've built an entire economy on money that does not exist. More than $250 trillion in derivatives exist today. That's 7x the world GDP... The only way out without building a higher house of cards will take years.

  • You liberals are dumber than a bag of cat turds.

    (apologies to cat turds everywhere)

  • hehehe classic

  • they're americans so of course they are dumb, but that makes you dumb as well (assuming you are an american)

  • Don't you have some third world hovel to spread your trash around in? Get busy boy.

  • no that is why i am in USA milking you and taxpayers for all they've got, white boy

  • Thank you Senator Inhofe for fighting against these bailouts which are just government thievery.

  • How can it be that residents of Oklahoma, a state always rated near the bottom in income, health and education could have the wisdom to elect over and over and over Old Jim, a man who's smarter about everything than just about anyone else in the whole world?

    It boggles the mind.

Old Jim says he's a "Jesus Guy". That pretty much means he's actually a nut case like so many other redneck Okies.

Old Jim is a national joke.

  • I'm no Okie, but I can tell you why. We midwesterners prefer freedom over government handouts. We enjoy the fruits of our own labor, and not the labor of others. This, coupled with the fact that the reforms needed to create "equity" would result in economic disaster for the nation as a whole. The educational and income parity in Oklahoma has little to do with fiscal policy, like all the foolish Keynesians believe, and everything to do with the sectors that find comparative advantage there.

  • You are right on target, Jim. These bailouts are not productive and will burden our grandchildren, and maybe their grandchildren with horrific debt. What enterprise has government interfered with and shown a net positive result? This needs to end now, before there is no end! Personal, corporate, and government fiscal responsibility is the way out of this mess.

  • I echo RJSinCo's comments completely. Senator Inhofe, thanks for being one of the few to fight this.

  • Yes! I support S.64. When Paulson can not be bothered to answer the questions put forth by the oversight committee, Americans see we no longer have any say in this pay-to-play scheme of crisis. Did anyone else this topic on Lou Dobbs tonight? Shameful.

  • What can we do when Communist China calls our debt due? What can we say when Russia cuts natural gas supplies to Europe? What do we see when Israel's defense is proclaimed a Nazi-like war crime and an act of genocide? We dishonor the generation who fought against such evils as Congress plans to enslave their children's children in a debt so large as to constitute a threat to national security. Thank you, Sen. Inhofe, for awakening America to intellectual and moral paralysis.

  • Way to go Jim! I hope you can convince Mitch McConnell to get the message we've been sending. No more bailouts and that is what Obama is proposing except it's called something else.

    tomshup

  • Really? Invested where? Paulson, et al, won't even say where the money has gone and under what terms. Supporting idiotic, anti-business policies is not American.

  • Senator Inhofe a voice of reason crying out in the wilderness called conservatism. God bless you!

  • Yes conservatism is quite savage.

  • Thank you! Don't let up, these bailouts are ridiculous and will certainly result in a far worse and longer-lasting economic depression. I am so thankful that someone in D.C. is not only wise enough to recognize the threat these bailouts pose but is also strong enough to speak out and do the right thing. God Bless!!

  • Thank you Senator Inhofe for your principled work to respect the average American's hard-earned dollars. Please keep up the good fight!

  • Right on senator . . . there are millions of us out here that will stand with you and watch your back.

    Don't yield.

  • Agreed, thanks for working for us Senator Enofe. If there were more like you this country would be in better shape.

Keep up the good fight on that AGW business too.

  • Two words...

    TERM LIMITS

  • TARP must be repealed, and Republicans need to offer alternatives to the boondoggle the Dems are cooking up. More bailouts will not help, rather they will only prolong and exacerbate the financial crisis.

    Reintroduce H. R. 7309!

  • We need more Senator's like you. TARP is the greatest fleecing America has ever seen. It was rushed through and now Obama wants more money to "stimulate" the economy. We haven't been shown that the first $350 Billion has done anything. Why should we believe the next $350 Billion will do anything. It has been said before but we are sending good money after bad. And in this case, tax payer debt, after bad money.

  • Thank you Senator Inhofe for standing up for the People of the USA!

  • Also Senator Inhofe, your FELLOW REPUBLICANS voted for the bailout. You made your own bed, now sit in it.

  • ragrubr:

It's not called global warming anymore. Didn't you get the memo? Your fellow Gore worshipers now call it climate change (a nice little catch-all phrase).

    I just call it weather.

  • Of course you would call it weather, as you are a neanderthal. However, scientific studies which actual measure temperature under water have shown that it exists. The GOP, including McCain and Newt Gingrich also realize that global warming/climate change exists. I know conservatives hate science. On second thought, it's just God holding us closer OR the End of Days.

  • Calling someone a Neanderthal is a racist comment.

Yes, the climate changes. But most of us can tell the difference between climate, which changes over millennia, and weather, which changes daily (just like the global warming scare).

    Conservatives hate pseudo-science.

  • Do you know what a Neanderthal is? Obviously not, as it has nothing to do with race.

Scientists measure underwater temperatures and log it in data and do it over an extended period of time. This isn't just weather.

Conservatives hate any science that doesn't fit their religious agenda.

  • Do YOU know what a neanderthal is?

It is a member of the hominid SPECIES inhabiting Europe prior to the emigration of homo sapiens to Europe. They were an intelligent species with art and culture.

Just no match for Homo Sapiens.

  • ragrubr,

Keep your religion out of a scientific debate. AGW is solely based on the faith in the Goracle's greatness(who grows richer by selling carbon credits)and the hatred of mankind. You reach your conclusions based on this faith and the emotions that control your thinking. Then you decide that everyone else must be an idiot.

There is always debate in science. Especially when larger data sets refute theories based on smaller ones.

  • I didn't bring religion into this weirdenweirden73, it's conservatives that believe that as I am sure you do. There is always debate, but the huge majority of scientific evidence shows that global warming is real.

  • rugrapr,

Of course you brought your religion into this debate. AGW is the shiny new religion. I am not denying that climate changes. Everyone knows that it does and always has. I just can't hate humanity as you do. I won't blame man and sentence the third world to eternal poverty trying to fix something we can't fix and didn't cause in the first place.

  • Right, AGW is the shiny new religion. Did you eat paint chips as a child or are you sucking the teat of Ann Coulter? Once again whether you like it or not man does have an impact on global warming, that doesn't mean I hate humanity. It's called cause and effect, weirdenweirden.

  • Few in the GOP would deny the existence of climate change. However, the idea of man-made climate change is a much more widely debated subject than you are led to believe by the minority of climatologists and geologists looking for federal grant money.

  • No Bailout! Enough is enough....Thank you Senator.

  • Senator Inhofe... Thankyou for Speaking the Truth..

  • I was against any bailout for any company, bank, etc.

Will this video & these comments get heard, seen by anyone?

    Where is the outrage?

Under democracy one party always devotes its chief energies to trying to prove that the other party is unfit to rule - and both commonly succeed, and are right.

    H. L. Mencken

  • Senator Inhofe, you rule! You and Jim DeMint are my top two favorite senators.

  • Thanks for starting a YouTube channel.

  • I now pray that the SCOTUS will hear the cases and resolve this issue. The MSM did not vet this man they covered more stories about Gov Palins lipstick and family and sent an army to Alaska to find dirt on her. So please do not tell us your concern for the constitution.

  • Congress continues to mortgage the futures of me (and my children). Indiscriminate governmental spending used as a tool to pull us out of this recession may be digging a hole so deep we long for these good old days.

  • I like many millions have lost all trust that we put in our elected officials. Because you all didn't stand for the constitution you have walked on it and made it nothing but a piece of paper that means nothing to WE THE PEOPLE. The SCOTUS should have been the last place we had to go and get this issue resolved but we looked to you sir and the other men and women in Washington to do your job as a rep of the people.

  • Well sir I disagree that you could not do anything. You speak about the need to protect our constitution but you and others said nothing on this the most important issue about who our founding fathers stated for the POTUS!!! I

  • over our constitutional provision for the office of president. You and others also voted for Sen Bill 511 to say Sen MCCain was eligible for office. Why was there no bill to say Mr. Obama is eligible? I called all of you like I said and I was told by your office and others you could do nothing. It will be left to the SCOTUS.

  • Sen Inhofe, I have lived in Oklahoma 52 yrs. I have supported you in your runs for Senate. You say we need to get Washington's ear??? Millions faxed, called, mailed and emailed Washington not to do this bailout. Washington didn't listen. We have also faxed, emailed ,called, mailed you and all reps in Oklahoma and other states to protest Mr. Obama at the elector vote on the floor concerning his Natural Born Citizenship to become the POTUS and not one in the House or Senate raised this concern

  • "The Forgotten Man: A New History of the Great Depression," by Amity Shlaes, is a book that needs badly to be read by all members of Congress. The book that needs to be read immediately after that is "A Humane Economy: The Social Framework of the Free Market," by Wilhelm Ropke.

  • Thank You for having the courage to stand up to this waste and you have my support as you continue the fight.

  • The audio is not very good....too low. But I agree with Sen. Inhofe. 3/4 of a trillion wasted in my point of view.

To rephrase the late Senator Everett Dirksen..." a few trillion here and a few trillion there, pretty soon you're talking about some real money."

  • Thanks for your great work on behalf of Oklahomans. Unfortunately, it looks like the $700 billion is just the start of wasting our money. Mr. Obama seems set to double that amount and there seems to be no ceiling on this. The Democrats don't care what the average person cares. They are embedded with the unions and this so called 'global warming'. The people are about to get what they deserve. Thankfully, we have people like you and Dr. Coburn.
