You basically replicated terrible midi programming. The triggers lack velocity sensitivity, probably one of the only most fucking important things in electronic drum programming. I'm glad you made whatever trigger app (max/msp? who knows, raw though) and filtered the midi notes and everything. I've always wanted the sound of midi drums right in front of me. Maybe you can sell this to The Strokes.
