The reason why we're not evolving is because we don't NEED to evolve. We have evolved in everything we needed to. Well I saw a documentary about how a tortoise swam onto an island. It populated the island with tortoises. The tortoises had no real enemies on the island so they, over time, lost the ability to go into their shell. Also the plants that they ate evolved so that the seeds they made grew at the bottom of the plant so the tortoises couldn't eat them.
evolution has not stopped. for example, elephant tusks over the past few hundred years on average have shrunk, due to humans hunting killing off the ones with larger tusks. this shows evolution within the time frame of about 6 generations.
And if hunters kill the elephants with large tusks, then no wonder that trait is slowly eliminated in the population. If they kill off the elephants with genes for big tusks, or course they'll be rare or extinct.

Small scale evolution can be observed in isolated populations of birds and certain fishes that change habits as well as physiology. Refer to national geographic. I have read an article describing this. Dont even bring up the bible in this discussion : )

Basically I hear History and time repeating itself. So as it seems it is very possible some how man could have made all this happen by thing's we do. like war. Perhaps so long ago they had these weapons. And used them. Leaving a whole lot of unexplained creatures developed to just die off as the planet comes back to a more natural state. Bringing all life to smaller sizes again because of lower oxygen levels. They are trying to do this again with weather manipulation I think.

@hualni , Pascal's Wager is NOT a rational thought. It has been torn apart and disproven almost since the day Pascal proposed it. Let's say you're a christian ( a fair assumption, since christians are the only ones who spout this nonsense), then there are hundreds of religions that say you will be in their version of hell when you die if you don't believe in THEIR god. Let's look at the evolution from a scientific stand point than.
Evolution dictates there are subtle changes that occur to a life form over thousands of years. These changes help aid in the survival of the life form.
Lets say people started as a single cell organism. What was the 1st step that the cell evolved to be human? How long did "people" live without arms and legs? Didn't happen quick. Develop lungs to breath? Smart brain? Blood stream?
Where is the proof of pre-evolved people?

I misinterpreted your basis of argument. You are not agnostic because of scientific views. You are agnostic because of personal views. Your argument was that there are hundreds of "Gods" and who is right. I will simply offer you this in rebuttal. Christianity is the oldest religion. Even predates Egyptian religions. Yet after thousands of years Christianity has never been proven false. The Bible is very clear with prophecies. 40 writers over thousands of years and no falsehoods. How can that be?

You can't sit there and say there's no proof of evolution and then argue there's proof of God. Science has already proved that Noah's story was false and that the Jews were not enslaved. @hualni Well, it depends on whether God is a truly fair entity: a fair God would send good people to Heaven even if they were atheists/agnostics/believed in another faith because, well, they were good.
I think that people in the end are forgetting that the main goal of religion is (or should be) "Let's be good to each to other", not "I'm in the right faith and you're not".

I have yet to hear an convincing argument for evolution. Even in college my professors got annoyed when I would question contradictions in the theory. Yet after all of my skepticism, I still got all A's. Instead of being closed minded, I search for knowledge. Something I doubt anyone I have ever talked to here tries.

There's a lot of artistic license and frivolous leaps of faith in this video.
BTW, when I saw the egg with a dinosaur in it, I noticed that it was a T Rex or a similar species of large lizards. Have they ever found an egg with a Sauropod or a Triceratops inside? Were they even lizards? They had mammalian feet. On the Ica Stones, Sauropods give birth the mammalian way, and have udders and teats. I believe they're accurate.

I'm no scientist so I may be wrong, but evolution hasn't stopped. It still is happening today to animals and plants in isolated animals to help live on that island. The reason why we're not evolving is because we don't NEED to evolve. We have evolved in everything we needed to. Now if we took away our machines and tools, we'd evolve very slowly to survive better in the environment.

Well I saw a documentary about how a tortoise swam onto an island. It populated the island with tortoises. The tortoises had no real enemies on the island so they, over time, lost the ability to go into their shell. Also the plants that they ate evolved so that the seeds they made grew at the bottom of the plant so the tortoises couldn't eat them.

evolution has not stopped. for example, elephant tusks over the past few hundred years on average have shrunk, due to humans hunting killing off the ones with larger tusks. this shows evolution within the time frame of about 6 generations.

Small scale evolution can be observed in isolated populations of birds and certain fishes that change habits as well as physiology. Refer to national geographic. I have read an article describing this. Dont even bring up the bible in this discussion : )

i agree, only half of it makes sense....yeah things change to adapt do diffeferent environments and speciation only occurs when one varient of an original species can not breed back, hense new species..then these new species have different mutaion potential and go on changing untill after millions of years huge lineages of animals are created with few if any similarities to the original 'stock'. you cant just say 'oh different environs offer platform for new species'. Mutations just may be cyclical and hidden within our DNA. ... around 2012 if there really is such a major effect. One site I came across mentions melatonin supplements may protect us. I think that was a reference to cancer also. I was looking for the cartoon section they showed in Jurasic park in the beginning. UV rays, magnetic changes and sound frequencies/cymatics seem to be related. Creationism may have it's connection within our DNA, posibly by panspermia in some projected light wave etc.

I usually stay out of my own comments selection. Since this video is mostly popular in Yemen and Alaska. Who knew the radical Christian and Muslins have so much in common but still so far apart.
