The tapping was created using a drum-replacement plugin our company makes called Drumagog. Live tap dancers were recorded and the sounds of their feet tapping were replaced with recorded samples of penguins walking. That's how the tapping gets the sound like its done on snow and ice!

Happy feet is kinda old but it's still pretty damn good. I mean i remember seeing this back in 2006 and i remember seeing a poster at the cinema and thinking "Happy feet's postpoded?" i was kinda upset but i've seen the movie now, i have it on dvd. I also heard that happy feet 2's coming out in 2011.
