I never powerleveled on this game, in fact I just went along with the story and I was fine. Tactics more than raw power determines winning boss fights..but raw power helps! lol
@ Leight, the game is well worth it.. I have the snes/psx and ds versions of the game, played through 13 times on each (to get the different endings). And with the DS you don't get the long load times on menus, and still get the animated cut scenes from the psx version, aswell as extra content.
kinda hard to say without giving to much away.. it starts off as you time travle in order to rescue someone, but find out along the way that the entire planet is in danger of being destroied by a monster, and it leads you into the future, back into the past, even to the end of time.. if you watch 2 or 3 more parts you'll get a feel for the story.
If you save up the gold to get the jerky, you can sell it when you go back into the past at one point for even more gold. You also missed a chest behind the little girl in the mayors house :D... But I'm just going to assume that you knew all of this and stop bugging you through your comments of the videos and just enjoy them.
It's 100g more if I remember correctly, I would buy the jerky, and then save it till I was in the need of some cash.. cause early on in the game obviously you don't need it, but I would use the G I got from it later to stock up on items or some thing of that nature.
