I once told Tony his black and white strips should be in color, and that his distracting little "second gag" material at the bottom should be omitted. But of course he just spat in my general direction and continued doing them in black and white, and kept in the second gag stuff. As to the New Yorker, I've been avoiding it since as a youngster I realized it was too late for me to take a train there and pick up on a young Dorothy Parker.
