A lovely song from a great era where artists wrote the best music, had the real talents and real singers. thats a beautiful MARTIN bro. is that a D41?
@PEDROCLASSIC Yes, a D41. Bought it new about 4 years ago, and it really is just starting to open up properly. Another few years and the tone will be right where I want it.
Yo man you really need to check your chord choices.try a G7 with a full bar and a F/G chord near the end of the first verse, and play the Em7 and Dm7 at the 7th and 5 th fret, and play the Fm7 at the 8th fret with full bar. These chords will bring out the melody alittle more.Otherwise Nice strumming!
@elcapitan117 I'm certain there are multiple acoustic guitars on Eagles tunes, doing different chord voicings. but you should play it the way you hear it.
@privettricker Well then ,you apparently dont hear much. AS a soloist , which im assuming you are, you would want to compliment the " singer' or melody as best you can . Playing just the basic major and minors wont cut it.
This is great! no unnecessary verbal dissertation on how to fret a C chord (thank you). Very nice, clear shot of the fret board so you can pick up what's happening easily even as a beginner. Nice work!
Nice fuckin guitar I live down the road from where they build em

Are Martin Guitars really that good? i've never played one. I've got an Ovation, when she has new strings on her, she takes some beating.
