On June 26th 1988 , about three months after This new aircraft type entered in service, a brand new Air France A320-111 F-GFKC "Ville d'Amsterdam" (msn 009) delivered to the airline 3 days before, crashed in a forest at Habsheim (near MLH/Mulhouse / France) during an airshow. 3 of the passengers couldn't escape and lost their lives in the Accident.
All the passengers on board were the winners of a contest organized by the Local Newspaper.
This is not an rc plane, by fully automated they mean fly by wire.

wasnt a landing. this was a fly past at an air show. pilot imprisoned for manslaughter of 3 dead passengers.
